Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Komitmen Organisasi Terhadap Disiplin Kerja Pegawai Negeri Sipil Pada Badan Kepegawaian di Kota Cimahi”. Ada tiga rumusan masalah yang dikaji dalam penelitian ini yaitu bagaimana komitmen organisasi para pegawai Badan Kepegawaian Daerah (BKD) Kota Cimahi, bagaimana disiplin kerja pegawai BKD Kota Cimahi dan seberapa besar pengaruh komitmen organisasi terhadap disiplin kerja pegawai pada BKD Kota Cimahi. Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran yang jelas terkait besaran pengaruh komitmen organisasi terhadap disiplin kerja pegawai negeri sipil pada badan kepegawaian daerah Kota Cimahi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup, dengan populasinya adalah seluruh pegawai BKD Cimahi yang berjumlah 41 orang, seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel penelitian,angket disebar kepada 41 pegawai, tetapi angket yang terkumpul dan dapat diolah hanya sebanyak 36. Pengolahan hasil penelitian ini menggunakan bantuan program Microsoft Excel 2007 dan SPSS 17.0 for Windows. Hasil perhitungan kecenderungan umum dengan menggunakan Weighted Mean Scored (WMS), menunjukkan bahwa komitmen organisasi di Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kota Cimahi termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan total skor rata-rata 3,70 dan disiplin kerja pegawai di Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kota Cimahi termasuk ke dalam kategori baik dengan total skor rata-rata sebesar 3,96. Hasil uji normalitas terhadap distribusi data menunjukkan bahwa variabel X berdistribusi normal dan variabel Y berdistribusi tidak normal. Selanjutnya analisis data menggunakan statistik non parametrik, yaitu menggunakan teknik Spearman Rho. Diperoleh koefisien korelasi variabel X terhadap variabel Y sebesar 0,654 (ini menunjukkan bahwa korelasi kedua variabel berada pada tingkat hubungan yang kuat), dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 42,77% oleh variabel X (Komitmen Organisasi) sedangkan sisanya 57,23% dipengaruhi oleh variabel/ faktor lain. Sedangkan hasil uji signifikasi diperoleh hasil sebesar 4,984 ≥ 1,697 yang menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara variabel X (Komitmen Organisasi) dengan variabel Y (Disiplin Kerja Pegawai) di Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kota Cimahi. Dapat disimpulkan adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara komitmen organisasi terhadap disiplin kerja pegawai negeri sipil pada badan kepegawaian daerah di Kota Cimahi. Peneliti merekomendasikan pimpinan lebih memotivasi pegawai agar dapat memupuk komitmen organisasi pegawai dan disiplin kerja pegawai, agar pegawai lebih bertanggung jawab terhadap tugas yang menjadi kewajibannya selaku pegawai. This study, entitled "Effects of Organizational Commitment Against Civil Servants Work Discipline In The Personnel Board Cimahi". There are three formulation of the problem is studied in this research is how the organizational commitment of the employees of the Regional Employment Agency (BKD) Cimahi, how to discipline employee BKD Cimahi and how much influence the organizational commitment to employee discipline at BKD Cimahi. Generally, this study aims to describe the magnitude of the effect is clearly linked to the organization's commitment discipline of civil servants working in local staffing agency Cimahi. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Data collection technique using a closed questionnaire, the population is all employees BKD Cimahi totaling 41 people, the entire population sampled study, questionnaires were distributed to 41 employees, but the questionnaire can be collected and processed only as many as 36. Processing the results of this study support program using Microsoft Excel 2007 and SPSS 17.0 for Windows. The results of the calculation of the general trend of using Weighted Mean Scored (WMS), suggests that organizational commitment in the Regional Employment Board Cimahi included in both categories with a total average score of 3.70 and discipline of employees working in the Regional Employment Board Cimahi fall into the category well with an average total score of 3.96. The results of normality test on the distribution of the data showed that the normally distributed variables X and Y variables are not normally distributed. Further analysis of the data using non-parametric statistics, using Spearman's Rho techniques. Correlation coefficient of variable X to variable Y was 0.654 (This indicates that the correlation between the two variables is at the level of a strong relationship), with a coefficient of determination of 42.77% by the variable X (Organizational Commitment) while the remaining 57.23% is influenced by variables / other factors. While the significance of test results obtained yield was 4.984 ≥ 1.697 which shows that there is a positive and significant effect of the variable X (Organizational Commitment) with variable Y (Job Discipline Employees) in the Regional Employment Board Cimahi. It can be concluded that the influence of a positive and significant correlation between organizational commitment to the discipline of civil servants working at staffing agencies in the area Cimahi. Researchers recommend more leaders motivate employees in order to foster employee organizational commitment and employee discipline, so that more employees are responsible for tasks that become obligations as an employee
