Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang sastra bandingan struktur naratif wawacan “Layang Carios Abduloh” dengan Taréh Nabi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis: 1) Isi wawacan “Layang Carios Abduloh” dan Taréh Nabi, 2) struktur formal dan struktur naratif wawacan “Layang Carios Abduloh”, 3) struktur naratif Taréh Nabi, 4) sastra bandingan struktur naratif wawacan “Layang Carios Abduloh” dengan Taréh Nabi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik studi pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah wawacan “Layang Carios Abduloh” merupakan wawacan yang ada di Cimaragas Ciamis dan didapat dari pemiliknya langsung, ditulis menggunakan huruf Arab Pégon, wawacan ini mempunyai manggalasastra dan kolofon, dan isinya menceritakan sejarah kehidupan Nabi Muhammad Saw. Taréh Nabi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan karangan Ibnu Ishaq dan Ibnu Hisyam, isinya menceritakan sejarah lengkap kehidupan Nabi Muhammad Saw. Struktur formal wawacan “Layang Carios” terdiri dari: guru lagu dan guru wilangan, karakter pupuh, serta ada 61 sasmita pupuh. Struktur naratifnya terdiri dari: alur campuran dan mempunyai sepuluh episode, sebelas motif cerita, dua belas tokoh, latar tempat, latar waktu dan latar sosial, serta temanya tentang sejarah dan nilai keagamaan. Struktur Taréh Nabi terdiri dari: alur maju dan mempunyai tujuh episode, tujuh motif cerita, tiga belas tokoh, latar tempat, latar waktu dan latar sosial, serta temanya tentang sejarah dan nilai keagamaan. Struktur naratif dari wawacan dan taréh yang sudah teranalisis, kemudian dibandingkan untuk mencari persamaan dan perbedaannya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, struktur naratif wawacan “Layang Carios Abduloh” dan Taréh Nabi mempunyai persamaan dan perbedaan meskipun keduanya membahas tentang sejarah kehidupan Nabi Muhammad Saw. Kata Kunci: sastra bandingan, struktur formal, struktur naratif, taréh nabi, wawacan COMPARATIVE LITERATURE OF LAYANG CARIOS ABDULOH AND TARÉH NABI MANUSCRIPT (STRUCTURAL REVIEW) Riski Fauzi Ramdhani ABSTRACT This research intended to describes about the comparison of narrative structures of “Layang Carios Abduloh” and Taréh Nabi manuscripts. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze: 1) the content of “Layang Carios Abduloh” and Taréh Nabi manuscripts, 2) Formal structures and narrative structures of “Layang Carios Abduloh” manuscript, 3) narrative structure of Taréh Nabi manuscript, and 4) the comparison of narrative structures of “Layang Carios Abduloh” and Taréh Nabi manuscripts. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method and literature study techniques. The results of this research, “Layang Carios Abduloh” is a manuscript from Cimaragas Ciamis was found from the owner directly and written using Arabic Pegon script, this manuscript has alophon and colophon, and its contents recite about life history of Prophet Muhammad SAW. Taréh Nabi manuscript that used in this research written by Ibnu Ishaq and Ibnu Hisyam and its contents recite about life history of Prophet Muhammad SAW. Formal structures of “Layang Carios Abduloh” manuscript consists of: guru lagu and guru wilangan, watek pupuh, and 61 sasmita pupuh. Narrative structures consists of: chronological plot and has 10 episodes, 11 story motifs, 12 figures, background scene, time setting, and social setting. And the genre are about history and religious values. Narrative structure of Taréh Nabi manuscript consists of: chronological plot and has 7 episodes, 7 story motifs, 13 figures, background scene, time setting, and social setting, and the genre are about history and religious values. Narrative structures of Layang Carios Abduloh and Taréh Nabi manuscripts which has been analyzed, and then compared to find similarities and differences. Based on research results, narrative structures of “Layang Carios Abduloh” and Tareh Nabi manuscripts have similarities and differences even though they both discuss about life history of Prophet Muhammad SAW.
