Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya aktivitas belajar siswa yang diakibatkan oleh masih banyaknya guru yang mengabaikan kemampuan interaksi sosial siswa dan lebih mementingkan hasil. Seperti pengalaman yang telah dialami peneliti di beberapa sekolah, masih banyak siswa yang kurang mampu berinteraksi sosial, baik dengan teman sebaya maupun dengan gurunya. Melalui penelitian tentang pengaruh interaksi sosial terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Salebu Kecamatan Mangunreja, peneliti mencoba mengungkap masalah ini. Secara umum, rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “Seberapa besar pengaruh interaksi sosial terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Salebu Kecamatan Mangunreja?”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang pengaruh interaksi sosial terhadap aktivitas belajar siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif studi kausal komparatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Salebu, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini merupakan sampel total dari keseluruhan jumlah siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Salebu yaitu sebanyak 32 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah penyebaran angket, wawancara dan dokumentasi sedangkan instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar pertanyaan angket untuk siswa yang berisi 30 pertanyaan dari masing-masing variabel serta pedoman wawancara untuk guru kelas VI SD Negeri Salebu. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif statistik diketahui bahwa siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Salebu memiliki tingkat interaksi sosial dan aktivitas belajar yang tinggi. Pencapaian interaksi sosial siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Salebu sebesar 73,44%, sedangkan pencapaian aktivitas belajar siswa kelas VI SD Negeri Salebu sebesar 74,03%. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana menjelaskan bahwa interaksi sosial siswa memiliki keeratan hubungan sebesar 0,809 dan berada pada kategori tinggi. Memiliki pengaruh sebesar 65,4% dan sisanya 34,6% dipengaruhi hal-hal lain di luar penelitian ini. Prediksi pengaruh interaksi sosial terhadap aktivitas belajar memiliki arah positif, karena berdasarkan persamaan regresi apabila interaksi sosial mengalami kenaikan sebesar satu poin, maka aktivitas belajar akan naik sebesar 0,858 poin. Penelitian ini dapat memberikan umpan balik bahwa untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa maka guru perlu meningkatkan kemampuan interaksi sosial siswa. Like the experience had researcher in some schools, there are many students who are less able to interact socially, both with peers and with the teacher. Through research on the influence of social interaction toward learning activities sixth grade elementary school Salebu students District Mangunreja, researcher try to unravel this problem. In general, the formulation of the problem in this research is "How big is the influence of social interaction toward learning activities sixth grade elementary school students Salebu District Mangunreja?". The purpose of this research is to gain an overview of the influence of social interactions on students' learning activities. The method used is descriptive method of causal comparative study with quantitative approach. The population in this study was six graders Salebu State, while the sample in this study is a sample of the overall total of sixth grade elementary school students Salebu as many as 32 students. Data collection techniques used are questionnaire, interview and documentation while the instrument used was the questionnaire question sheet for students that contains 30 questions of each variable as well as an interview guide for sixth grade elementary school teacher Salebu. Based on the descriptive statistical analysis known that six graders Salebu State has a level of social interaction and learning activities is high. Achievement of social interaction sixth grade elementary school students Salebu by 73.44%, while the achievement of student learning activities Salebu Elementary School sixth grade at 74.03%. Results of hypothesis testing using simple linear regression analysis explains that social interaction students have the relationship of 0.809 and are in the high category. Has the effect of 65.4% and the remaining 34.6% is influenced other things outside of the research. Prediction of the effect of social interaction on learning activities has a positive direction, as if the regression equation based on social interaction has increased by one point, then the learning activities will rise by 0.858 points. This research can provide feedback that to improve student learning activities that teachers need to improve students's social interaction. Keywords: social interaction, learning activities
