Abstract

Penelitian terkait makna asosiatif yang terdapat pada beberapa puisi di antologi puisi dan prosa karya Yun Dong Ju ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis makna asosiatif dan makna puisi yang ada di antologi puisi ‘하늘과 바람과 별과 시 (Haneulkwa Baramkwa Byeolkwa Si)’ karya Yun Dong Ju. Makna yang terdapat pada kata, frasa, atau kalimat dalam puisi dapat berupa makna yang berasosiasi dengan sesuatu di luar bahasa. Melalui kajian makna asosiatif menurut Leech maka makna dari kata, frasa, atau kalimat dapat diketahui melalui sudut pandang lain. Dalam penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Setelah proses analisis peneliti menemukan 27 data makna konotatif, 4 data makna sosial, 24 data makna afektif, 7 data makna reflektif, dan 2 data makna kolokatif. Lewat penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa kata, frasa, atau kalimat yang terdapat di puisi Yun Dong Ju tidak hanya memiliki satu makna. Selain itu, penyair banyak menggunakan kata, frasa, atau kalimat untuk mengekspreksikan perasaan yang dialami pada masa penjajahan Jepang di Korea. Research on the associative meanings found in several poems in the anthology of poetry and prose by Yun Dong Ju aims to find the types of associative meanings that exist in poetry and the meanings of poetry that exist in the anthology of poetry ‘하늘 과 바람 과 별 과 시 (Haneulkwa Baramkwa Byeolkwa Si)’ by Yun Dong Ju. Words, phrases, or sentences contained in poetry may also have meanings associated with something outside the language. Through the study of associative meanings according to Leech, the meaning of words, phrases or sentences can be known from another point of view. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. After the analysis process the researcher found 27 data of connotative meaning, 4 data of social meaning, 24 data of affective meaning, 7 data of reflective meaning, and 2 data of collocative meaning. Through this research, it can be known from the words, phrases or sentences contained in Yun Dong Ju's poetries have more than one meanings. In addition, the poet often uses words, phrases, or sentences that express the feelings he experienced during the Japanese colonial period in Korea.
