Abstract

ABSTRAK KARYA KOMPOSISI BASSLAND Jeremia Fernando Jonathan (1505220) Karya Bassland ini merupakan karya perpaduan dari musik gamelan salendro dengan musik modern combo. Frekuensi tonal yang berbeda antara musik gamelan dengan musik combo khususnya pada bass elektrik menjadi permasalahan sehingga terciptanya karya ini. Karya ini di ciptakan dengan menggunakan metode explorasi komposer pada alat musik gamelan salendro. lalu setelah di dapatkan melodi utama, komposer mencoba explorasi pada harmoni dan akornya. Untuk mengatasi perbedaan frekuensi gamelan dengan alat musik modern khususnya bass elektrik, komposer men- tuning los senar A pada Bass elektrik dengan nada “DA” pada gamelan salendro sebagai landasar tuning pada instrument bass elektrik. Kata kunci: Gamelan, frekuensi, bass modern, explorasi ABSTRAK The Composition of Bassland Jeremia Fernando Jonathan (1505220) The work of this Bassland is the work of a coalescence of gamelan music salendro along with some opera through the advent of modern combo. The frecuency of tonal languages which differ among gamelan music along with some opera combo story most striking in the bass electric has been a problem, so that the creation of this work. This work created by using the method exploration composer on a musical instrument gamelan salendro. ago after there main melody, composer trying to explor in harmony and chord. To resolve differeces frequency gamelan with the bass electric, composer set the tone of the A string with tone “DA” in gamelan salendro as the based tone in the bass electric.
