Abstract
ABSTRAK Faisal Khoirul Akbar (0900990), “Pengaruh Kompetensi Kewirausahaan terhadap Keberhasilan Usaha (Survei pada Pengusaha di Industri Genteng Jatiwangi Kecamatan Jatiwangi Kabupaten Majalengka)”. Di bawah bimbingan Dr. B Lena Nuryanti, M.Pd. Sektor industri merupakan sektor yang memiliki kontribusi besar untuk meningkatkan perekonomian suatu daerah. Keberhasilan usaha suatu industri dapat dinilai ketika suatu perusahaan berhasil mencapai tujuan atau sasaran yang ditetapkan organisasi. Sebagian besar keberhasilan usaha sangat ditentukan oleh kompetensi yang dimiliki pengusaha karena kompetensi kewirausahaan berkaitan erat dengan kemampuan pengusaha mempertahankan usahanya untuk mencapai keberhasilan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) memperoleh temuan mengenai kompetensi kewirausahaan yang dimiliki pengusaha, 2) memperoleh temuan mengenai keberhasilan usaha yang dicapai oleh perusahaan, 3) memperoleh temuan mengenai seberapa besar kompetensi kewirausahaan yang dimiliki pengusaha dapat mempengaruhi keberhasilan usaha baik secara simultan maupun parsial. Objek penelitian ini adalah pengusaha di Industri Genteng Jatiwangi Kecamatan Jatiwangi Kabupaten Majalengka. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah kompetensi kewirausahaan terhadap keberhasilan usaha sebagai variabel tidak bebas. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, verifikatif, dan metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory survey dengan teknik simple random sampling, dengan jumlah sampel 72 responden. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan adalah path analysis dengan alat bantu software komputer SPSS 21.0. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian menyatakan bahwa kompetensi kewirausahaan berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan usaha sebesar 72,4%. Dari hasil penelitian terhadap pengujian hipotesis dapat diketahui bahwa kompetensi kewirausahaan memiliki pengaruh yang positif terhadap keberhasilan usaha. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian melalui analisis jalur terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari kompetensi kewirausahaan terhadap keberhasilan usaha dalam penelitian ini bahwa kedua variabel ini memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan baik secara simultan maupun parsial. The success of the business of an industry can be assessed when a company successfully achieve the goals or objectives set an organization. Most of the success of the business is determined by the competence of entrepreneurs as entrepreneurial competencies related to the ability to maintain business entrepreneurs to achieve success. This study aims to 1) obtain findings on entrepreneurial competencies owned by entrepreneurs, 2) obtain discovery regarding business success achieved by the company, 3) obtain discovery regarding how much entrepreneurial competencies owned by entrepreneur can affect the success of the business either simultaneously or partially. Object of this study is a businessman in the Tile Industry Jatiwangi Majalengka District. The independent variable in this study is the entrepreneurial competence to business success as the dependent variable. This type of research is descriptive, verification, and the method used is explanatory survey with random sampling techniques, with a sample of 72 respondents. Data analysis technique used is the tool path analysis with SPSS 21.0 computer software. The results obtained in the study stated that the effect on the success of the entrepreneurial competencies of business 72.4 %. From the results of the study to test the hypothesis can be seen that entrepreneurial competence has a positive influence on the success of the business. Based on the results of research through path analysis found a significant effect of entrepreneurial competencies to business success in this study that these two variables have a significant effect either simultaneously or partially.
