Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil lulusan Program Studi D3 Teknik Mesin FPTK UPI. Penelitian ini diarahkan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang: (1) masa tunggu kerja, (2) jenis kepemilikan tempat kerja, (3) status ketenagakerjaaan, (4) penghasilan yang diperoleh, dan (5) perkembangan karir. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survey. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah lulusan Prodi D3 Teknik Mesin angkatan 2012 dan 2013. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan teknik simple random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan penyebaran kuesioner kepada alumni secara online. Pengumpulan data lapangan dimulai pada November 2018 sampai Januari 2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Masa tunggu lulusan tergolong baik, yaitu kurang dari 3 bulan (2) jenis instansi tempat bekerja pada saat awal bekerja yaitu di perusahaan swasta. (3) status ketenagakerjaan yang diperoleh lulusan saat awal bekerja yaitu sebagai tenaga kerja tidak tetap, (5) penghasilan yang diperoleh pada awal bekerja diatas Rp. 4 juta. (6) dalam perkembangan karir, ada 5 orang yang pernah berpindah pekerjaan. The aims of research are the figure of the graduate profile from D3 Mechanical Engineering DPTM FPTK UPI. The focus this research are the figure out of information about (1) the waiting time to work; (2) worksplace ownership; (3) the employee status; (4) income earned, and ;(5) career development. Methods of collecting data using the survey method. The population in this study were graduates of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program D3 class of 2012 and 2013. The sampling technique was simple random sampling technique. The method of data collection is done by distributing questionnaires to alumni online. Field data collection starts in November 2018 until January 2019. The results of the study show that: (1) Graduates' waiting periods are classified as good, ie less than 3 months; (2) the type of agency at work at the beginning of work in private companies; (3) employment status obtained by graduates at the beginning of work, namely as temporary workers; (4) income earned at the beginning of work above Rp. 4 million; (5) in career development, there are 5 people who have changed jobs.
