    Abstract

    ABSTRAK

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merevitalisasi tari Jalur Kuantan Singingi , dan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan para penari sanggar seni Ngocal meliputi kemampuan afektif, kognitif, dan psikomotor. Revitalisasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan konsep Konstruksi oleh Smith yang terdiri dari lima konstruksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma kualitatif dengan metode project based researcarh, langkah peneliti diawali dengan mendiagnosa tari Jalur lama, dan kemampuan penari, selanjutya yaitu prescribe yaitu membuat konsep, kemudian diimplimentasikan, dan evaluasi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan bentuk baru tari Jalur yaitu terdapat unsur-unsur gerak tetap, berkembang, perubahan, dan unsur teatrikal dalam tarian, yang terdiri beberapa adegan yaitu tukang canang, mencari kayu, menyembah, membuat Jalur, maelo Jalur, berpacu dan berandai. menggunakan kostum tekuluak barembai yang dimodifikasi dengan iringan musik rarak dan musik Melayu.

    ABSTRACT

    The aim of this study are revitalize traditional dance entitled Tari Jalur, and enchance the skill the members of Ngocal in persepectives of affective, cognitive, and psychomotor. The revitalization has been done theory of construction proposed by Smith, there were 5 construction in this study. The method of this study is qualitative research by using project based research, the very beginning step was diagnose the problem of previos tari Jalur. the next prescribe included constructing a concept, implementing and evaluating. The result of this study is a new concept of tari Jalur, consist of the static movent, development, dynamic and theatrical of a dance. The examples of movement are tukang canang, mencari kayu, menyembah, membuat Jalur, maelo Jalur, berpacu and berandai. the costume of the dance is tekuluak barembai, the music is rarak and Malay music.
