Abstract
Penelitian bertujuan menghasilkan kajian empiris layanan dasar bimbingan belajar untuk peningkatan kemampuan problem solving akademik peserta didik kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Desain penelitian yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Temuan penelitian berupa: 1) profil umum kemampuan problem solving akademik peserta didik kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 berada pada kategori mampu; 2) layanan dasar bimbingan belajar untuk peningkatan kemampuan problem solving akademik peserta didik kelas XI SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Layanan dasar bimbingan belajar melalui strategi bimbingan klasikal untuk peserta didik dengan kemampuan problem solving akademik kategori mampu dan bimbingan kelompok untuk peserta didik dengan kemampuan problem solving akademik kategori belum mampu. Penelitian merekomendasikan hasilnya kepada: 1) Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling diharapkan memanfaatkan dan mengembangkan layanan dasar untuk peningkatan kemampuan problem solving akademik; 2) penelitian selanjutnya, diharapkan dapat menguji efektifitas layanan dasar bimbingan belajar untuk peningkatan kemampuan problem solving akademik serta mengimplementasikan pendekatan problem solving untuk jenjang pendidikan SD/MI atau yang sederajat. ----- The research aim to produce empirical study of guidance learning basic service to enhance students’ academic problem solving ability of grade XI of SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi in the academic year of 2015/2016. The implemented research design is a descriptive quantitative with survey method. The findings of the research are: 1) exposure of general profil of academic problem solving ability of the students class XI SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi in the academic year of 2015/2016 which was stated at ability category; 2) guidance learning basic service to enhance academic problem solving ability on the students class XI SMK Negeri 1 Cimahi in the academic year of 2015/2016. The guidance learning basic service is focused on through the strategy of classical guidance for students with ability academic problem solving and the group guidance for students with not ability yet academic problem solving. This research recommends the outcome to: 1) guidance expert or Guidance and Counseling Teacher is hoped to be able to optimize academic problem solving ability; 2) the next research is aimed at the capability of efectiveness examinations guidance learning basic service to enhance academic problem solving ability and further implement to Elementary School, Islamic School or equals
