Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perkembangan teknologi informasi (TI) yang sangat pesat sehingga penemuan berbagai macam produk TI menyebabkan setiap informasi yang ada di dunia ini bisa didapatkan dalam waktu yang relatif singkat. Masalah yang ditujukan dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana Keterkaitan Antara KoleksiRepository dengan Pemenuhan KebutuhanPemustaka Di Perpustakaan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) Mengetahui keterkaitan antara kemudahan akses koleksi repository dengan pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi pemustaka di Perpustakaan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia; (2) Mengetahui keterkaitan antara kebermanfaatan koleksirepositorydengan pemenuhan kebutuhan informasi pemustaka di Perpustakaan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Populasi dalampenelitianiniadalahseluruhpemustaka perpustakaan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia yang datang mengunjungi perpustakaan, dengan sampel 100 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan menggunakan rumus Pearson Product Moment. Hasil analisis data menunjukan, (1) Kemudahan akseskoleksirepositorydi Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia termasukdalamkategorisangat kuat; (2) Kebermanfaatankoleksirepository di Perpustaakaan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesiatermasukdalamkategorisangat kuat. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa korelasiantarakoleksirepositorydenganpemenuhankebutuhaninformasipemustakamempunyaihubungansangatkuat.Oleh karena itu, keberadaan koleksirepository memberikan kontribusi yang positif untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi pemustaka. The background of this research is the rapid development of information technology (IT), so the invention of many product in TI cause every information that exist in this world can get in short time. The problem that tended in this research is how the connection between repository collection with the fulfillment of librarian’s necessary in library of Indonesia education university. The aim of this research are (1) Knowing the connection between easy in access the collection of repositorywith the fulfillment information necessary in library of Indonesia education university; (2) knowing the connection between the benefit of repository collection with the fulfillment librarian’s information necessary in library of Indonesia education university. The population in this research is the entire of the member of library of Indonesia education university who comes to visit the library, with 100 person as sample. The method that used in this research is descriptive method with quantitative approachment. The instrument that used in this research is questionnaire. The technique of data analysis use Pearson Product Moment formula. The result of data analysis shows, (1) the ease of repository collection in Indonesia education University included in very strong category; (2) The benefit ofrepository collection in library of Indonesia education University included in very strong category. Thus, can concluded that the correlation between repository collection with the fulfillment of the librarian’s information necessary has very strong connection. Therefore, the existence of repository collection gives positive contribution in fulfilling librarians information necessaries.
