Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi berdasarkan pertimbangan kebijakan dasar pengembangan wilayah dan penataan struktur ruang yang terdapat di Kabupaten Majalengka, Kecamatan Argapura termasuk ke dalam wilayah pengembangan selatan dengan fungsi utama sebagai kawasan konservasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) untuk mengidentifikasi daya tarik wisata alam Taman Nasional Gunung Ciremai di Kecamatan Argapura, (2) untuk menilai sejauh mana pengembangan sarana dan prasarana wisata alam Taman Nasional Gunung Ciremai, (3) untuk menganalisis respon wisatawan dan partisipasi masyarakat lokal terhadap kawasan Taman Nasional Gunung Ciremai. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan metode survei, Sampel pada penelitian ini diambil menggunakan teknik sampling accidental dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, metode plotting, observasi, studi litelatur, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan persentase (%). Hasil Penelitian mengenai daya tarik wisata alam Taman Nasional Gunung Ciremai menyuguhkan panorama alam yang sejuk sebagai tempat wisata yang cocok untuk dijadikan tempat bersantai, menjernihkan pikiran, merefleksi otak dengan melihat pemandangan alam yang hijau. Sarana dan prasarana yang disuguhkan oleh pengelola wisata alam cukup baik, akan tetapi harus ditingkatkan kembali dalam aspek fasilitas dan aksesibilitas. 64% respon wisatawan terhadap kawasan wisata alam Taman Nasional Gunung Ciremai merasa puas dalam berwisata. Masyarakat di Kecamatan Argapura terbilang aktif dalam mengelola suatu wisata, khususnya wisata alam yang paling menonjol di kecamatan tersebut membuat masyarakat bekerja sama untuk membangun wilayahnya menjadi sebuah wisata yang ramah lingkungan dan digemari para pengunjung. Kesadaran masyarakat dalam pariwisata membuat mereka ikut terlibat dalam pengelolaan ekowisata. Kata Kunci: Potensi Wisata, Taman Nasional, Ekowisata This research is based on the consideration of the basic policy of regional development and spatial structure arrangement in Majalengka District, Subdistrict Argapura which is included into the southern development area with the main function as a conservation area. The objectives of this research are: (1) to identify the natural tourism's attraction of Mount Ciremai National Park in Argapura Subdistrict, (2) to assess the extent of development of facilities and infrastructure of Mount Ciremai National Park; (3) to analyze tourists' response and participation of local community in regard to the area of Mount Ciremai National Park. This research uses descriptive research design with a survey method, by which samples in this study were taken using accidental sampling technique with data collection using interviews, plotting method, observation, literature studies, documentation, and questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use percentage (%). Research results present that the natural attraction of Mount Ciremai National Park is its cool natural scenery as a suitable place to be a place to relax, clear the mind, reflect the brain by looking at the green landscape. The facilities and infrastructure provided by the managers of nature tourism is good enough, but should be improved in terms of facilities and accessibility. There is 64% of tourists response to the natural tourism area of Mount Ciremai National Park which states that the tourists were satisfied with the tour. Communities in Argapura Subdistrict are active in managing the tourism, especially the most prominent nature tourism in the subdistrict, making the community work together to build its territory into an eco-friendly and popular tourist attraction.
