Abstract

Pola pengasuhan orang tua di rumah sangat berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan perilaku sopan santun anak, mengingat perilaku sopan santun lebih banyak dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan terdekatnya yaitu keluarga. Selain itu, perilaku sopan santun pada anak tunagrahita sedang akan sangat memerlukan pola pengasuhan yang baik sebagai wadah dalam pembentukan pribadinya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui perilaku sopan santun anak tunagrahita sedang terhadap guru berdasarkan pola asuh orang tua. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa sopan santun yang ditunjukkan anak tunagrahita sedang dikelas sangat beragam. Dua siswa menjunjukkan perilaku kurang baik dan dua orang menunjukkan perilaku sopan santun yang cukup baik. Orang tua yang menerapkan pola asuh demokratis menunjukan perilaku sopan santun anak lebih baik di bandingkan dengan orang tua yang menerapkan pola asuh permisif dan pola asuh otoriter yang menunjukan perilaku anak lebih agresif dan kurang soan santun terhadap guru.; The pattern of parenting at home had an important role for children’s manner attitudes establishment because of children’s manner attitudes largely influenced by family as their closest people. Moreover, a good pattern of parenting would be extremely required to establish the attitudes and accommodate the character of children who mentally half-retarded. The main purpose of this research is to recognize their manner attitudes which based on the pattern of parenting toward the teachers. This research used descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview and documentation studies. Based on the result of the research, mentally half-retarded children’s manners in the class were totally varied. Two children shown dissatisfactory attitudes and two other show the good enough attitudes. The parents who used a democracy pattern of parenting give their children the better attitudes. Otherwise, the parents who used a permissive and authoritative pattern of parenting give their children the dissatisfactory attitudes and make their children more aggressive in the front of their teachers.
