Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap audit delay pada perusahan manufaktur yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2014 dengan menggunakan variabel ukuran perusahaan, kategori KAP, tingkat profitabilitas, laba/rugi perusahaan, jenis pendapat auditor terhadap audit delay. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan menggunakan sampel sebanyak 99 perusahaan manufaktur tahun 2014. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan mengumpulkan data sekunder tahun 2014. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Pengujian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan software IBM SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara ukuran perusahaan, kategori KAP, tingkat profitabilitas, laba/rugi perusahaan, jenis pendapat auditor terhadap audit delay pada 77 perusahaan manufaktur tahun 2014. ---------- The purpose of this study is to describe and determine factors that affect audit delay on manufacturing companies listed at BEI (Indonesia Stock Exchange) 2014. This study looks at various size of the company, public accounting firm’s category, the level of profitability, the profit/loss of the company, and the type of assessment given by the auditor regarding the audit delay. This study used an associative method with a quantitative approach. This research used secondary data from 99 manufacturing companies. The hypothesis testing was accomplished by using multiple regression analysis. The IBM SPSS 20 software was used throughout this study. These results suggest that there are some influence between the size of the company, public accounting firm’s category, the level of profitability, the profit/loss of the company,and the type of assessment given by the auditor regarding the audit delay at the 99 manufacturing companies.
