Abstract
Instalasi listrik merupakan suatu hal yang membutuhkan perencanaan yang tepat, hal tersebut diperlukan bukan hanya untuk mendapatkan efektifitas kinerja instalasi listrik yang akan dirancang, dan bukan juga demi mendapatkan efisiensi ekonomis yang serendah-rendahnya, tetapi juga mempertimbangkan keamanan, keandalan, keindahan dan yang lainnya. Perancangan instalasi listrik sebuah gedung juga mempertimbangkan fungsi utama dari bangunan yang akan dipasang instalasinya. Tujuan perancangan instalasi listrik Gedung Fakultas Pendidikan Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia ini adalah untuk lebih memahami perancangan instalasi listrik sebuah gedung yang sesuai dengan prosedur kelistrikan yang berlaku dalam hal ini PUIL 2000. Metode penelitian yang digunakan mulai dari penentuan lokasi, penentuan jenis dan fungsi ruangan untuk perhitungan jumlah titik cahaya serta membuat layout denahnya dengan menggunakan program Microsoft Office Visio. Hasil dari penelitian didapatkan bahwa gedung ini memerlukan konsumsi daya lebih dari delapan puluh ribu watt untuk mendapatkan tingkat pencahayaan yang sudah ditentukan berdasarkan fungsi tiap ruangannya. Gedung ini juga memerlukan kapasitor bank 76 KVAR dengan 12 step untuk memperbaiki faktor daya dari 0,35 menjadi 0,9. ---------- Electrical installation is a matter that requires proper planning, it is necessary not only to obtain the effectiveness of the performance of electrical installations to be designed, and not also to have economic efficiency as low, but also consider the security, reliability, beauty and more. The design of the electrical installation of a building also consider the main functions of the building that will be mounted installations. Electrical installation design purposes Faculty of Economics and Business Education Indonesia University of Education is to better understand the design of the electrical installation of a building in accordance with the procedures applicable in the event electricity is PUIL 2000. The method used ranging from determining the location, determining the type and function room for the calculation of the number of points of light and create a layout diagram using Microsoft Office Visio program. Results of the research showed that this building requires a power consumption of more than eighty thousand watts to get the level of exposure that has been determined based on the function of each room. The building also requires a capacitor bank 76 KVAR with 12 steps to improve the power factor of 0.35 to 0.9.
