Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui gambaran umum gejala stres akademik peserta didik SMA berdasarkan status sosial ekonomi keluarga. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Bandung TA 2012/2013. Hasil penelitian: (1) profil gejala stres akademik peserta didik kelas X termasuk kategori sedang; (2) profil gejala stres akademik peserta didik kelas X berlatar belakang status sosial ekonomi rendah, sedang, maupun tinggi termasuk kategori sedang, namun berdasarkan status sosial ekonomi rendah, gambaran aspek yang berada paling tinggi adalah aspek fisik. Sedangkan berdasarkan status sosial ekonomi keluarga tinggi dan sedang, gambaran aspek yang berada paling tinggi adalah aspek perilaku; dan (3) implikasi bimbingan dan konseling yang dibuat adalah rancangan program bimbingan akademik untuk membantu peserta didik mengelola stres akademik. Rekomendasi penelitian ditunjukkan kepada guru BK dan peneliti selanjutnya. Kata Kunci: peserta didik SMA, stres akademik, status sosial ekonomi keluarga, program bimbingan akademik The reaserch find to an overview of academic stress symptoms of high school students by socio-economic status families. The research approach using a quantitative approach, using descriptive research method. The study population was a tenth grade student at SMAN 6 Bandung TA 2012/2013. The results: (1) academic stress symptom profiles of students of class X including moderate category, (2) stress symptom profiles of class X students' academic background of socio-economic status of low, medium, high or medium category, but based on low socioeconomic status , an idea which is the highest aspect is the physical aspect. While based on high family socioeconomic status and being, an idea which is the highest aspect is an aspect of behavior, and (3) the implications of the guidance and counseling program created academic guidance is designed to help learners manage academic stress.
