Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji fenomena menurunnya Harga Saham pada PT Bakrie Plantation Sumatera Tbk. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi menurunnya Harga Saham, salah satunya adalah Profitabilitas PT Bakrie Plantation Sumatera Tbk yang kurang optimal ditandai dengan rendahnya nilai Earning Per Share (EPS). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1). Memperoleh gambaran profitabilitas pada PT Bakrie Plantation Sumatera Tbk. 2). Memperoleh gambaran harga saham pada PT Bakrie Plantation Sumatera Tbk. 3). Memperoleh temuan pengaruh profitabilitas terhadap harga saham pada PT Bakrie Plantation Sumatera Tbk. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah PT Bakrie Plantation Sumatera Tbk. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan verifikatif, metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian time series design. Hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan rumus regresi sederhana menunjukkan variabel Profitabilitas (EPS) berpengaruh terhadap Harga Saham dengan nilai intersep atau konstanta 281,76, nilai ini mengandung arti bahwa regresi memotong sumbu Y pada titik 281,76 dan merupakan nilai variabel dependen yaitu apabila tidak terjadi perubahan EPS, maka harga saham pada PT Bakrie Plantation Sumatera Tbk sebesar Rp 281,76. Tingkat signifikansi profitabilitas (EPS) terhadap harga saham sebesar 0,032 yang lebih kecil dari tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,05 sehingga profitabilitas (EPS) berpengaruh terhadap harga saham. Dari hasil pengujian tersebut, dapat diketahui bahwa hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu “Profitabilitas (Earning Per Share) berpengaruh terhadap Harga Saham” telah teruji. Oleh karena itu penulis menyarankan agar perusahaan memperhatikan dalam penciptaan laba bersih perusahaan agar dapat meningkatkan profitabilitas (EPS) perusahaan yang berpengaruh baik terhadap harga saham PT Bakrie Plantation Sumatera Tbk. This study examines the phenomenon of the declining price of Shares of PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantation Tbk. There are several factors that may affect the stock price decline, one of which is the profitability of PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantation Tbk suboptimal characterized by low value of Earning Per Share (EPS). This study aims to 1) Getting a picture of the profitability of PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantation Tbk. 2) Obtain a stock price of PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantation Tbk. 3) Obtain findings influence the profitability of the stock price at PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantation Tbk. Objects in this study is PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantation Tbk. This type of research is descriptive and verification, the method used in this study is a quantitative type of research design time series. The results of the study by using a simple regression formula indicates the variable profitability (EPS) affect the stock price by the value of the intercept or constant 281.76, this value implies that the regression cut the Y axis at a point 281.76 and a value of the dependent variable that is if no change EPS, the stock price of PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantation Tbk amounting to Rp 281.76. The significance level of profitability (EPS) on the share price of 0.032 which is smaller than the significance level of 0.05 to profitability (EPS) impact on stock prices. From the test results , it can be seen that the hypothesis proposed in this study, namely "Profitability (Earning Per Share) affect the stock price" has been tested. Therefore, the authors suggest that companies pay attention to the creation of the company's net income in order to increase profitability (EPS) of the company that affect both the price of the shares of PT Bakrie Sumatera Plantation Tbk.
