Abstract

Subjective well-being menjadi aspek sentral dalam pemahaman tentang kebahagiaan dan keputusan hidup individu, karena dapat memahami bagaimana individu merasakan dan mengevaluasi kehidupannya secara keseluruhan dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan kebahagiaan individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh kecenderungan subjective well-being pada siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan dan menghasilkan dasar pertimbangan rumusan layanan bimbingan pribadi sosial. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 1.135 siswa kelas X, XI, dan XII di salah satu Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan dengan yang diperoleh menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data secara non probability dengan teknik convenience sampling. Data diperoleh melalui instrumen Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) dan Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE) yang disusun oleh Diener (2006, 2009) untuk mengukur subjective well-being. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan:.1). Kecenderungan umum subjective well-being siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan berada pada kategori cukup puas. 2). Tiap aspek subjective well-being berada pada kategori cukup puas 3). Hasil uji non parametrik menunjukan terdapat perbedaan antara jurusan Manajemen Perkantoran dan Layanan Bisnis (MPLB) dan Pengembangan Perangkat Lunak dan Gim (PPLG), jurusan Teknik Jaringan Komputer dan Teknologi Informasi (TJKT) dengan semua jurusan dan memiliki tingkat mean rank tertinggi. Hasil ini berimplikasi bagi layanan bimbingan pribadi-sosial untuk meningkatkan subjective well-being siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan. Subjective well-being is a central aspect in understanding happiness and individual life decisions, because it can understanding how individuals feel abd evaluate their lives as a whole in an effort to improve the quality of life and individual happiness. This study aims to assess the trends in subjective well-being among vocational high school students and provide a basis for formulating social personal guidance services. The sample in this study consisted of 1,135 students from grades X, XI, and XII in one Vocational High School, obtained using non-probability data collection techniques with convenience sampling. Data were collected using the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) and the Scale of Positive and Negative Experience (SPANE) developed by Diener (2006, 2009) to measure subjective well-being. The results of this study indicate: 1) The general trend of subjective well-being among Vocational High School students is in the category of satisfaction. 2) Each aspect of subjective well-being is in the category of satisfaction. 3) Non-parametric test results show differences between the Office Management and Business Services (MPLB) and Software Development and Gaming (PPLG) majors, Computer Networking and Information Technology (TJKT) major, with all majors and having the highest mean rank. These findings have implications for personal-social guidance services to improve the subjective well-being of Vocational High School students.
