Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya kemampuan penalaran berpikir kritis yang harus dimiliki oleh peserta didik. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang secara konseptual dimungkinkan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis adalah pembelajaran berbasis mini riset. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis mini riset untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi tanah kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes kemampuan berpikir kritis dan lembar observasi pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis yang terdiri dari uji T, uji regresi, dan koefisien determinasi dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) terdapat pengaruh mini riset terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis di kelas eksperimen X-1; 2) terdapat pengaruh mini riset terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis di kelas eksperimen X2; 3) terdapat perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kritis dengan kelas eksperimen X-1 dan X2; 4) terdapat kontribusi mini riset terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis kelas X-1; 5) terdapat kontribusi mini riset terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis kelas X-2. : This research is motivated by the importance of critical thinking reasoning skills must be owned by students. One of the conceptual learning models It is possible to improve critical thinking skills through learning mini-research based. This research aims to analyze the influence of learning mini-research based to improve students' critical thinking skills class X soil material at SMA Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe. This research is research pre-experiment. The data collection technique was carried out using a thinking ability test critical and learning observation sheets. Data analysis techniques using statistics namely normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test consisting of T test, regression test, and coefficient of determination with the help of SPSS. The research results show that 1) there is an influence of mini research on critical thinking skills in the X-1 experimental class; 2) there is an influence of mini research on critical thinking skills in experimental class X2; 3) there are differences in critical thinking abilities with experimental classes X-1 and X2; 4) there is a mini research contribution to the critical thinking skills of class X-1; 5) there is a mini research contribution to the critical thinking skills of class X-2
