    Abstract

    Organisasi mahasiswa memerlukan pemimpin atau pengurus yang mampu membangun networking secara luas. Namun, banyak pengurus belum maksimal karena kurangnya rasa percaya diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh self-efficacy terhadap kemampuan pengurus organisasi mahasiswa Pendidikan IPS dalam membangun networking yang luas secara efektif dan profesional. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, melibatkan sebanyak 64 responden dari pengurus organisasi mahasiswa pendidikan IPS. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala likert. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara self-efficacy dan kemampuan membangun networking, dengan kontribusi sebesar 13,8%. Artinya, semakin tinggi self-efficacy pengurus, semakin baik efektivitas mereka dalam membangun networking organisasi. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penguatan self efficacy dalam pengembangan organisasi mahasiswa Pendidikan IPS. Penelitian ini masih memiliki keterbatasan dalam menjelaskan faktor-faktor lain yang memengaruhi kemampuan membangun networking, mengingat self-efficacy hanya berkontribusi sebesar 13,8%. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peran dari yang lain, seperti komunikasi interpersonal, pengalaman organisasi, dukungan sosial, atau karakteristik kepribadian, guna lebih meningkatkan kemampuan dalam membangun networking. Student organizations require leaders or administrators capable of building extensive networks. However, many administrators are not optimal due to a lack of self-confidence. This study aims to analyze the influence of self-efficacy on the ability of Social Studies Education student organization administrators to build extensive networks effectively and professionally. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method, involving 64 respondents from Social Studies education student organization administrators. The data collection technique used a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The research hypothesis was tested using simple linear regression analysis. The results showed a positive and significant relationship between self-efficacy and the ability to build networks, with a contribution of 13.8%. This means that the higher the administrators' self-efficacy, the better their effectiveness in building organizational networks. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening self-efficacy in the development of social studies student organizations. This study still has limitations in explaining other factors that influence networking skills, given that self-efficacy only contributed 13.8%. Therefore, the role of other factors, such as interpersonal communication, organizational experience, social support, or personality characteristics, is needed to further enhance networking skills.
