abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari kemampuan teknik personal pengguna terhadap kinerja sistem informasi akuntansi dan mengetahui pengaruh dari pengendalian internal terhadap kinerja sistem informasi akuntansi pada Bank BRI wilayah Bandung Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif dan asosiatif kausal dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah karyawan Bank BRI di wilayah Bandung Raya. Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Convenient Sampling. Data yang digunakan merupakan data primer yang diperoleh dengan penyebaran kuesioner. Pengujian hipotesis pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis jalur dengan alat bantu software SmartPLS 3.0. Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan teknik personal pengguna berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja sistem informasi akuntansi serta pengendalian internal berpengaruh positif terhadap kinerja sistem informasi akuntansi. Dengan demikian, hasil ini dapat memenuhi tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan teknik personal pengguna dan pengendalian internal terhadap kinerja sistem informasi akuntansi (Studi pada beberapa kantor cabang Bank BRI di wilayah Bandung Raya).

This research aims to determine the effect of the user’s personal technical ability on the performance of accounting information system and to determine the effect of internal control on the performance of accounting information system at BRI Bank in Bandung Region. The research method used in this research is descriptive and causal associative with quantitative approach. The population in this study were BRI Bank employees in Bandung Region. The sampling method in this study used convenient sampling. The data used are primary data, obtained by distributing questionnaires. Hypothesis testing in this research uses path analysis with SmartPLS 3.0 software tool. According to hypothesis testing results, the user’s personal technical ability has a positive effect on the performance of accounting information system and internal control also has a positive effect on the performance of accounting information system. Thus, these results can fulfill determine the effect of the user’s personal technical ability and internal control on the performance of accounting information system (Study at Several BRI Branch Offices in Bandung Region).
