Berbagai jenis teknologi terus bermunculan seiring dengan perkembangan zaman. Perkembangan teknologi yang begitu cepat telah mengubah banyak aspek dalam proses komunikasi data, akan tetapi masih banyak yang belum memanfaatkan penggunaan teknologi tersebut secara maksimal salah satunya dalam hal sistem informasi manajemen perkantoran yang belum memiliki sistem automatic notification. Berdasarkan latar belakang permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan penelitian Sistem Automatic Notification Dalam Konteks Manajemen Perkantoran dengan menggunakan metode studi literatur serta model waterfall sebagai tahap pengembangan sistem. Model notifikasi dibuat menggunakan Application Programming Interface (API) agar dapat dipakai oleh berbagai sistem dengan mekanisme Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) yang merupakan mekanisme pengiriman pesan untuk lintas platform secara realtime. Selain itu, model notifikasi juga dibuat menjadi generik untuk mempermudah pengembang dalam mengembangkan aplikasi jika ingin membuat sistem notifkasi tata surat dengan platform yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa sistem automatic notification ini dapat digunakan untuk mempermudah stakeholders maupun penerima surat dalam mengetahui masuk/keluar surat secara realtime dengan adanya notifikasi.

ABSTRACT

Various types of technology continue to emerge along with the times. The rapid development of technology has changed many aspects of the data communication process, but there are still many who have not made the most of this technology, one of which is an office management information system that does not yet have an automatic notification system. Based on the background of these problems, a research on the Automatic Notification System in the Context of Office Management was carried out using the literature study method and the waterfall model as the system development stage. The notification model is created using the Application Programming Interface (API) so that it can be used by various systems with the Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) mechanism which is a mechanism for sending messages for cross platforms in real time. In addition, the notification model has also been made generic to make it easier for developers to develop applications if they want to create a mail system notification system with different platforms. The results of the study show that this automatic notification system can be used to make it easier for stakeholders and recipients of letters to know incoming/outgoing letters in real time with notifications.
