An approach that has an impact on the development of life skills in adolescents is Positive Youth Development (PYD). PYD explains that all youth have some form of innate resource or ability from which they can lead happy and successful lives. Life skills can help teenagers not only succeed in sports, but can help teenagers in their daily lives apart from the world of sports. This study aims to determine the differences in the effect of integrating life skills through gymnastics in the framework of PYD and to determine the improvement of life skills components through gymnastics in the framework of Positive Youth Development. With the quasi-experimental research design The Pretest-Posttest One Group Design. Sampling using Total Sampling. Furthermore, the sample is 24 athletes from Porprov XIV 2022. The research instrument used the Life Skills Scale for Sport (LSSS) questionnaire. The results of this study prove that there is an effect of integration of life skills through gymnastics in the framework of Positive Youth Development. And proves that there is an increase in the life skills component through gymnastics. With these findings, it is hoped that students and athletes will become increasingly aware that sports activities, especially gymnastics, are not just moving, but there are values that lead them to face the challenges and problems of everyday life in the future.
