Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Wawancara dilaksanakan kepada 5 partisipan penelitian yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa perkembanganya dari zaman dahulu hingga sekarang terjadi perkembangan pada motif, corak dan warna, perkembangan pada teknik, alat dan bahan serta perkembangan pada fungsi. Hal yang perlu diwariskan kepada generasi berikutnya terkait kerajinan Tembe Nggoli terdiri dari materi pengetahuan, materi keterampilan, apresiasi dan keterlibatan. Lembaga yang sangat berperan penting dalam pewarisan Tembe Nggoli yaitu Sanggar Seni dan Sekolah. Sementara proses pewarisan budaya dapat meliputi kegiatan sosialisasi, kegiatan enkulturasi, serta kegiatan internalisasi. Beberapa faktor yang dapat menjadi pendorong perkembangan Tembe Nggoli yaitu industrialisasi dan pariwisata. Sementara faktor yang menghambat perkembangan Tembe Nggoli yaitu globalisasi, kurangnya peran pemerintah, kurangnya peran keluarga dan kurangnya anak muda dalam melestarikan kebudayaan Tembe Nggoli. Kurangnya minat tergambar dari pemakaian Rimpu dalam kehidupan sehari-hari tidak begitu popular lagi bagi mereka serta kurangnya anak muda yang ditemukan berkarir dan ingin berkarir sebagai pengrajin Tembe Nggoli. This study aims 1) to determine the development of Tembe Nggoli Crafts in the community in 2021 and 2022 in the Bima area of West Nusa Tenggara; 2) to find out the role of the community in inheriting the knowledge of Tembe Nggoli Crafts in the Bima area of West Nusa Tenggara; 3) to find out the factors that hinder the progress of Tembe Nggoli Crafts in the Bima area of West Nusa Tenggara. This research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Interviews were conducted with 5 research participants selected by purposive sampling. From the results of the study, it was obtained that its development from ancient times to the present has occurred developments in motifs, patterns and colors, developments in techniques, tools and materials as well as developments in functions. What needs to be passed on to the next generation regarding the Tembe Nggoli craft consists of knowledge materials, skill materials, appreciation and engagement. The institutions that played a very important role in the inheritance of Tembe Nggoli were Sanggar Seni and Sekolah. Meanwhile, the process of cultural inheritance can include socialization activities, enculturation activities, and internalization activities. Some factors that can be a driver of the development of Tembe Nggoli are industrialization and tourism. Meanwhile, factors that hinder the development of Tembe Nggoli are globalization, lack of government role, lack of family role and lack of young people in preserving Tembe Nggoli culture.
