Kajian hasil literatur menunjukkan bahwa penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode korelasional. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa/i di SMAN 9 Bandung. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa/i kelas XI yang berjumlah 144 dengan teknik pengambilan sampel cluster random. Penelitian ini menggunakan instumen Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnair. Untuk mengetahui signifikansi peran secara parsial antara variabel independen terhadap variabel dependen menggunakan uji Korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar, besaran koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,38 dan signifikan pada p-value 0,00 (0,00 < 0,05). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi belajar mempunya peran terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Semakin tinggi motivasi belajar siswa akan diikuti oleh semakin tinggi hasil belajar siswa. Motivation is an important part to improve learning outcomes. The literature review shows that this study aims to determine the relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes. The research method used is the correlational method. The population in this study were students at SMAN 9 Bandung. The sample in this study were students of class XI, amounting to 144 with cluster random sampling technique. This study uses the Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire instrument. To find out the partial significance of the role of the independent variable on the dependent variable, the Pearson Product Moment Correlation test was used. The results of the study prove that there is a significant relationship between learning motivation and learning outcomes, the correlation coefficient is 0.38 and significant at p-value 0.00 (0.00 <0.05). Thus it can be concluded that learning motivation has a role in increasing student learning outcomes.
