Setelah beberapa tahun Lingkar Nagreg beroperasi, muncul lah sebuah permasalahan baru yaitu pada Jalan Arah Garut menuju Jalan Arah Tasikmalaya yang memiliki jarak tempuh lebih jauh dibandingkan dengan arah sebaliknya. Jarak tempuh yang lebih jauh itu mengakibatkan banyaknya pengendara yang melawan arus agar waktu tempuh dari Jalan Arah Garut menuju Jalan Arah Tasikmalaya lebih singkat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah membagikan kuesioner analisis tingkat kepuasan pengguna jalan dan survei lapangan waktu tempuh kendaraan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan masyarakat di sekitar Jl. Raya Bandung-Garut menginginkan rute alternatif dari Garut menuju Tasikmalaya dengan waktu tempuh yang lebih singkat dan jalan yang nyaman. Saat ini satu-satunya jalan dari arah Garut untuk menuju Tasikmalaya berjarak 8,11km dengan waktu tempuh 12 menit 4 detik sedangkan apabila pengendara melawan arus dari Garut menuju Tasikmalaya hanya berjarak 0,96km dengan waktu tempuh 3 menit 19 detik. Maka perlu dibuat rencana pelebaran jalan dan memperbaiki rambu-rambu lalu lintas yang ada agar jalan lebih tertib. Penelitian ini memerlukan data geometrik jalan seperti lebar jalan, elevasi, dan foto-foto dilapangan. Setelah penelitian di lakukan didapat kesimpulan bahwa perlunya mengatur ulang rambu-rambu lalu lintas yang ada serta menghitung rencana pelebaran tikungan agar pengendara lebih nyaman melewati jalan tersebut. The Lingkar Nagreg was created to connect Bandung to Tasikmalaya, Garut, Banjar and other cities in Jawa Tengah.After several years of operating the Nagreg Circle, a new problem arose, namely on Jalan Arah Garut to Jalan Arah Tasikmalaya which has a longer distance than the opposite direction.The longer mileage results in many riders going against the flow so that the travel time from Jalan Arah Garut to Jalan Arah Tasikmalaya is shorter.The research method used is distributing questionnaires to analyze the level of satisfaction of road users and field surveys of vehicle travel time. The results showed that the community around Jl. Raya Bandung-Garut wants an alternative route from Garut to Tasikmalaya with a shorter travel time and a comfortable road.Currently the only road from Garut to Tasikmalaya is 8.11km with a travel time of 12 minutes 4 seconds, while if the driver goes against the current from Garut to Tasikmalaya it is only 0.96km with a travel time of 3 minutes 19 seconds. This research requires road geometric data such as road width, elevation, and photos of the field.
