Cara untuk memecahkan masalah tersebut dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran yang tepat yaitu Menerapkan Model Cooperative Learning Tipe Jigsaw. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas guru dalam Tema 8 Muatan Pembelajaran IPS dengan Menerapkan Model Cooperative Learning Tipe Jigsaw, untuk mengetahui aktivitas siswa dalam Tema 8 Muatan Pembelajaran IPS dengan Menerapkan Model Cooperative Learning Tipe Jigsaw, dan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam Tema 8 Muatan Pembelajaran IPS dengan Menerapkan Model Cooperative Learning Tipe Jigsaw. Jenis Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri atas dua siklus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian aktivitas guru pada siklus I mendapatkan presentase 70% sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 97,5%. Aktivitas siswa pada siklus I mendapatkan presentase 71,22% sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 79,75%. Hasil belajar siswa pada pra siklus hanya mendapatkan presentase 11%, pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 44%, pada siklus II semakin meningkat menjadi 94%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa Menerapkan Model Cooperative Learning Tipe Jigsaw dalam Tema 8 Muatan Pembelajaran IPS dapat meningkatkan aktivitas guru, aktivitas siswa, dan hasil belajar siswa. ----- This research is motivated by various problems that affect the low learning outcomes of class V students at one of the SDN Purwakarta, one of these problems is due to the inappropriate application of the learning model in the research class. The way to solve this problem is to apply the right learning model, namely Applying the Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning Model. This study aims to determine the teacher's activities in Theme 8 Social Studies Learning Contents by Applying the Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning Model, to determine student activities in Social Sciences Learning Content Theme 8 by Applying the Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning Model, and to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes in 8 Contents Themes. Social Studies Learning by Applying the Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning Model. This type of research uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) which consists of two cycles. Based on the results of the research, teacher activity in the first cycle got a percentage of 70% while in the second cycle it increased to 97.5%. Student activity in the first cycle got a percentage of 71.22% while in the second cycle it increased to 79.75%. Student learning outcomes in the pre-cycle only get a percentage of 11%, in the first cycle it increases to 44%, in the second cycle it increases to 94%.
