N2  - Nilai pengetahuan peserta didik negara Indonesia masih sangat rendah, yaitu peringkat ke-72, jauh dari negara satu kawasan Asia Tenggara lainnya, seperti Singapura (ke-2), Malaysia (ke-55), Brunei Darussalam (ke-58), dan Thailand (ke-65). Pendidikan memiliki peranan penting dalam membangun peserta didik untuk mengembangkan potensi yang dimilikinya. Pendidikan merupakan usaha mendidik manusia menjadi baik dan bermanfaat bagi lingkungan. Buku siswa merupakan pedoman untuk siswa dalam mencapai kompetensi yang diharapkan yaitu pengetahuan yang harus dipelajari, sikap yang harus dikembangkan, dan keterampilan yang harus diasah dengan berlatih.
 	Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat relevansi buku siswa dengan Kurikulum 2013. Tingkat relevansi antara buku siswa dengan Kurikulum 2013 akan berpengaruh pada harapan kompetensi yang dicapai oleh siswa. Metode penelitian yang dipakai adalah kualitatif non-interaktif.
 	Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menemukan bahwa tingkat relevansi buku siswa terhadap Kurikulum 2013 termasuk kedalam kategori cukup relevan dan layak digunakan untuk peserta didik kelas 5 sekolah dasar.

The knowledge value of Indonesian students is still very low, which is ranked 72nd, far from other Southeast Asian countries, such as Singapore (2nd), Malaysia (55th), Brunei Darussalam (58th), and Thailand. (65th). Education has an important role in building students to develop their potential. Education is an effort to educate humans to be good and beneficial to the environment. The student book is a guide for students in achieving the expected competencies, namely knowledge that must be learned, attitudes that must be developed, and skills that must be honed by practicing.
 	The purpose of this study was to determine the level of relevance of student books to the 2013 curriculum. The level of relevance between student books and the 2013 curriculum will affect the competency expectations achieved by students. The research method used is non-interactive qualitative.
 	In this study, the researchers found that the level of relevance of students' books to the 2013 curriculum was included in the category of quite relevant and suitable for use for 5th grade elementary school students.
