Perkembangan harga saham yang terjadi pada subsektor ritel di Indonesia mengalami penurunan harga saham yang sangat drastis di setiap tahunnya, terutama pada periode 2014-2018.\r\nPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh profitabilitas terhadap harga saham. Objek dalam penelitian yaitu laporan keuangan perusahaan ritel yang terdaftar di BEI tahun 2014-2018. Metode yang digunakan explanatory research. Teknik analisis yang digunakan yaitu regresi linear sederhana dengan program Eviews. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa profitabilitas (ROA) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham.\r\nKata Kunci: Harga saham; Kinerja keuangan; Return On Assets (ROA).\r\nChelsia Tiaradifa (1204544) “The influence of profitability on subsector retail companies stock price” Under the guidance of Dr. H. Ahim Surachim, M.Pd., M.Si.\r\nStock price sill become the prioritty problem on many firm that has been listing in stock exchange, company value, return, and dividend that will be accepted by investor that become important factors on demand and supply process that influence to stock price decision. The development of stock exchange was happened in subsector retail in Indonesia every years is decrease especially on period 2014-2018.\r\nThis study aims to determine the effect of ROA on stock prices. The object of this research are 15 financial report of Retail Sub-Sector Companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018. . The method used is explanatory research. The analysis technique used is linear regression analysis with Eviews program.
