description: The main problem which was Investigated in this dissertation is closely related to the problem, of educational quality, especially at SUA level, which was considered still low. This assumption has been strengthened by results of entrance tests to higher education institutions and results from the monitoring of the 1975 high school curriculum implementation* . which was. still far from satisfactory. Meanwhile, efforts have been seriously made to improve the quality of education since the beginning of Eepelita I. Speculations about the causes of the low educational quality have been put forward, which generally indicated that teachers and infrastructures had not yet fulfilled the requirements. The quality of students' achievement, which 13 considered as an indicator of the quality of education, is influenced by various interacting factors in the teaching-learning process. These factors include conditions of individual students,matertal presented, systems of presentation,  instrumental factors and environmental conditions, both inside and outside the school
