abstract: Perencanaan dan perancanggan shopping mall ini berlokasi di kawasan Gedebage, Jawa Barat. Mall ini dirancang bertujuan untuk memenuhi gaya hidup masyarakat saat ini terutama masyarakat kota. Masyarakat berkunjung ke suatu shopping mall bukan hanya untuk belanja dan makan saja, akan tetapi shopping mall telah menjadi tempat yang digunakan sebagai tempat pertemuan, nongkrong, refreshing dan hiburan bagi anak muda maupun orang tua. Mall ini dirancang menggunakan tema atraktif yang bersifat menyenangkan dan mampu membangkitkan minat pengunjung dan tidak membuat pengunjung bosan sehingga akan terus datang ke mall. Konsep semi outdoor didukung dengan adanya innercourt sehingga memberikan efek belanja sambil menikmati sejuknya alam. Suasana ruang terbuka pada lahan diharapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pengunjung agar dapat selalu datang ke mall. Selain itu, hasil studi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi dan pengetahuan kepada pembaca mengenai perencanaan dan perancangan shopping mall dengan tema atraktif.;
The planning and designing the shopping mall is located in the gedebage area, West Java. This mall is designed to aim at fulfilling the lifestyle of today's society, especially the city community. The community visits a shopping mall not only for shopping and dining, but shopping malls have become a place that is used as a meeting place, hang out, refreshing and entertainment for young people and parents alike. This mall is designed using attractive theme that is fun and able to arouse visitors' interest and not make visitors bored so they will continue to come to the mall. The semi-outdoor concept is supported by the existence of inner court so that it gives the effect of shopping while enjoying the cool nature. The atmosphere of the open space on the land is expected to meet the needs of visitors so they can always come to the mall. In addition, the results of this study are expected to provide readers with information and knowledge regarding the planning and designing of attractive shopping malls.
