abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa, dan juga untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil belajar siswa antara model pembelajaran konvensional, dengan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning Tipe Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Arab. Metode  penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen), dengan subjek terdiri dari dua kelas yaitu kelas X2  (kelas eksperimen) dan X1 (kelas kontrol). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes tertulis. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan uji t dua sampel menggunakan Microsoft Office Excell 2010. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa antara model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) dengan model pembelajaran konvensional, hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan (Gain) kedua kelas tersebut, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Cooperative Learning tipe Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa,
