"Skripsi ini berjudul “Proses Penciptaan Tari Banyu Kahuripan di Sanggar Kurawa\r\nMerdeka Kabupaten Bandung Barat”. Tari Banyu Kahuripan diciptakan Oleh Asri\r\nPuspitaning Arum, tarian ini termasuk jenis tari berkelompok rumpun tari kreasi baru\r\nyang bersumber dari tari rakyat Sunda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh\r\ngambaran secara menyeluruh tentang proses penciptaan tari, penyajian gerak, rias,\r\nbusana dan properti. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode\r\ndeskriptif analisis. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara,\r\ndokumentasi dan studi pustaka. Analisis yang dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif\r\ndengan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tari Banyu Kahuripan\r\nmerupakan garapan yang dilatarbelakangi oleh lingkungan yang ada di Kabupaten\r\nBandung Barat. Gerak yang disajikan merupakan menggambarkan kebiasaan\r\nmasyarakat daerah saat mengambil air dari mata air. Rias yang digunakan adalah rias\r\ncantik. Bagian busana yang digunakan merupakan kreasi pencipta yang memadukan\r\nberbagai kostum dan ciri khas tarian tersebut dapat terlihat dari asesoris pada bagian rok\r\nmenggunakan sinjang batik motif khas Bandung Barat. Kesimpulannya Tari Banyu\r\nKahuripan merupakan wujud pengaplikasian tari kreasi baru yang didasari dari\r\nlingkungan kabupaten Bandung Barat dimana daerah yang memiliki banyak sumber air.;--- The essay is about “The Process Creating of Banyu Kahuripan Dance in Sanggar\r\nKurawa Merdeka West Bandung Regency”. The main interviwees in this research is\r\nAsri Puspitaning Arum as the creator of Banyu Kahuripan dance. Banyu Kahuripan\r\ndance is a group dance which is new creation dance sub-dance that based on sundanese\r\nfolk dance. The purpose of this research is to gain a complete description about Banyu\r\nKahuripan dance. The description is obatained trough the analysis from background of\r\nthe dance creating process, movement performance, make up, costume and property\r\nthen describe trough in-depth study. The method that used in this research is descriptive\r\nanalysis method. Researcher run the data collection technique with observation,\r\ninterview, documentation and literature study. The analysis used a qualitative\r\ndescriptive with triangulation. The research result showing that Banyu Kahuripan dance\r\nis dance creating process based the environment that exists in West Bandung regency.\r\nThe presentated movement is describing the habits of the people when taking water\r\nfrom the water. The make up that used is corrective make up, and the costume is the\r\ncreation of the creator herself that combines various costumes. The characteristic of\r\naccessories on the part of the skirt using sinjang batik motifs typical of west Bandung.\r\nIn conclusion, Banyu Kahuripan dance is a manifestation of the application of dance\r\nnew creations based on the environment of west Bandung regency which is in the area\r\nhas a lot of water."^^ .
