The method used in this research was experimental research. \r\nCreativity \r\nrubric and matching pretest\r\n-\r\nposttest as the instruments. The sample was taken by cluster random \r\nsampling technique in experimental class (n=24 students) and control class (n=24 students) with \r\nthe population of 8th grade students at Junior High S\r\nchool in Bandung. The students in both of \r\nclass divided into 4 groups. Experiment class was used pop\r\n-\r\nup book while control class was used \r\nsmash book as teaching media. Pop\r\n-\r\nup book is interesting paper craft with 3D form when the \r\nbook is open and folded fla\r\nt when the book is closed. Smash book is containing information in the \r\nform of texts or images from any source with interesting design. The result of the research \r\nshowed that the creativity of the students in experiment class was 87.5% and in control class\r\nwas \r\n68%. Generally, students’ product in experiment class showed higher novelty, resolution and \r\nelaboration and synthesis domain as the main reference of creativity. Based on the analysis of the \r\nstudents’ understanding results, the N\r\n-\r\nGain in experiment cl\r\nass is 0,65 while in control class is \r\n0.58 both of them categories as medium. The improvement of students understanding toward the \r\nconcept which is plant organs also could be noticed by independent T\r\n-\r\ntest with significant 0.044 \r\nwhich means there was signif\r\nicant difference between both of class. It’s conclude that creating \r\npop\r\n-\r\nup book in learning plant organs is effective.;--- Tujuan dari pen\r\nelitian in adalah untuk mengindentifikasi kreativitas dan pemahaman pada materi \r\norgan tumbuhan melalui implementasi buku pop\r\n-\r\nup. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini \r\nadalah penelitian eksperimen. Instrument yang digunakan adalah rubrik kreativitas da\r\nn soal \r\npretest dan posttest. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang dilakukan adalah cluster random sampling \r\ndi kelas experiment (n=24 peserta didik) dan kelas control (n=24 peserta didik) dengan populasi \r\npeserta didik kelas 8 di salah satu Sekolah Menengah Pertam\r\na di Bandung. Peserta didik dari \r\nkedua kelas terbagi mejadi empat kelompok di masing\r\n-\r\nmasing kelas. Kelas experiment \r\nmenggunakan buku pop\r\n-\r\nup dan kelas control menggunakan kliping sebagai media pembelajaran. \r\nBuku pop\r\n-\r\nup adalah potongan kertas yang menarik da\r\nlam bentuk 3D ketika buku dibuka. Buku \r\nkliping dalam penelitian ini berisi informasi dalam bentuk tulisan dan gambar dari berbagai \r\nsumber dan dibuat dengan desain yang menarik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan kreativitas \r\npeserta didik dari kelas exper\r\niment adalah 87,5% dan kelas kontrol 68%. Peserta didik dari kelas \r\neksperimen menunjukkan hasil yang tinggi pada aspek kebaruan, pemecahan masalah dan \r\nkerincian sebagai domain produk kreativitas. Berdasarkan data analisis pemahaman peserta didik, \r\nN\r\n-\r\ngain un\r\ntuk kelas eksperimen adalah 0,65 sedangkan kelas control 0,58 dan dikaretorikan \r\nsedang. Peningkatan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi organ tumbuhan juga dapat dilihat \r\ndari uji independent T\r\n-\r\ntest yang hasilnya 0,044 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan di\r\nkedua kelas. \r\nDapat disimpulkan bahwa pembuatan buku pop\r\n-\r\nup pada materi organ tumbuhan efektif."^^ .
