Yusup H, II. Dian Budiana. abstract: Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Pasundan Subang. Masalah yang menjadi kajian dalam penelitian ini adalah mengenai disiplin siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan disiplin siswa melalui motivasi eksternal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey dalam bentuk explanatory survey. Berdasarkan perhitungan pengujian hipotesis diperoleh diperoleh Fhitung sebesar 33,359 sedangkan Ftabel dengan tingkat kesalahan α = 0,05 dan dk regb/a = 1 dan dk res = n – 2 =79 sebesar 3,962, artinya Fhitung > Ftabel yaitu 33,359 > 3,962. Koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,545 terletak diantara 0,400 – 0,599 yaitu termasuk kategori “sedang“. Koefisien determinasi variabel motivasi eksternal terhadap disiplin siswa sebesar 30%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi eksternal berpengaruh positif terhadap disiplin siswa di SMK Pasundan Subang.;---This research used at SMK Pasundan Subang. Problem of the research is student discipline class XI SMK Pasundan Subang or discipline by low student learning time. the way to solve this problem in this research is applied by external motivation. The Methode that used in researcher is explanatory survey method. From the data analys Fhitung as much 33,359 and than Ftabel α = 0,05 and dk regb/a = 1 and dk res = n – 2 =79 as much 3,962, so Fhitung > Ftabel is 33,359 > 3,962. Correlation as 0,545 between in 0,400 – 0, 599 and in medium category. Determination variable external motivation of student discipline as 30%. From the results of this research findings concluded, that the external motivation can be grow discipline in class XI SMK Pasundan Subang.
