        abstract = {Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan 1) kemampuan prates menulis carpon siswa kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran SMK Pasundan 3 Bandung tahun ajaran 2013/2014; 2) kemampuan postes menulis carpon siswa kelas XI  Administrasi Perkantoran SMK Pasundan 3 Bandung tahun ajaran 2013/2014; 3) perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media gambar kolase. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuasi eksperimen, dengan menggunakan desain pretest and posttest group. Adapun instrumen yang digunakan adalah media gambar kolase dan lembar tes siswa. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini jumlahnya 34 orang yang diambil dari satu kelas yaitu kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran SMK Pasundan 3 Bandung. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik tes, dari data tes tersebut kemudian diolah. Untuk mengetahui hasil penelitian dilakukan analisis data dengan cara analisis statistik. Dari hasil uji gain menunjukan adanya peningkatan yang siginifikan antara tes awal dan tes ahir yaitu meningkat dari 64,14\% menjadi 84,47\% dengan beda 20,32\%. Dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh  t\_itung{\ensuremath{>}}  t\_tab{\'e}l yaitu 56,44 {\ensuremath{>}} 2,46 berdasarkan hal tersebut bisa dikatakan bahwa hipotesis kerja (Ha) diterima dan hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak. Dengan demikian media gambar kolase bisa meningkatkan kemampuan menulis carpon siswa kelas XI Administrasi Perkantoran SMK Pasundan 3 Bandung taun ajaran 2013/2014.
Background on this research is the lack of the ability to write this short story because the alternative with media Kolase Picture  is expected to increase the student.The aim of this research is to find out, (1) The ability of pratests  a student writes short stories of the administrative offices SMK Pasundan3 Bandung academic year 2013 - 2014. (2) The poses writes short stories, a student of SMK Pasundan3  the administrative offices academic year 2013 - 2014. (3) A significant difference between the before and after using the picture of Kolase.The method is applicable in a quasi experiments, using design pretest and posttest group.A technique used in this research are technique tests.From the results of the tests showed a significant between the beginning and the end of the rise of being 84,47 from 64,14 \% and with different 20,32\%.The result of the test hypotheses obtained t-test was {\ensuremath{>}} t\_table is 56,44 {\ensuremath{>}} 2,46 on this hypothesis can say that the work  (Ha) is received and rejected an hypothesis zero (Ho).
