%X Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tingginya kasus kekerasan seksual terhadap anak di Indonesia serta rendahnya pemahaman personal safety skills peserta didik sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan hasil observasi di SDN 1 Kalangsari dan SDN Margamulya, peserta didik belum pernah mendapatkan pembelajaran atau sosialisasi mengenai personal safety skills. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan video animasi berjudul “Anti Kekerasan Seksual”terhadap peningkatan personal safety skills siswa kelas II sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experimental jenis Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas II di kedua sekolah tersebut, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan nonprobability sampling jenis sampling jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes pengetahuan personal safety skills. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata nilai pre-test kelas eksperimen lebih rendah dibandingkan kelas kontrol, namun setelah diberikan perlakuan menggunakan video animasi “Anti Kekerasan Seksual”, rata- rata nilai post-test kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Uji non-parametrik menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) < 0,05 yang berarti Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Nilai N-Gain kelas eksperimen berada pada kategori “sedang”, sedangkan kelas kontrol berada pada kategori “rendah”. Dengan demikian, penggunaan video animasi “Anti Kekerasan Seksual”berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan personal safety skills peserta didik sekolah dasar. This study was motivated by the high incidence of sexual violence against children in Indonesia and the low level of understanding of personal safety skills among elementary school students. Based on observations at SDN 1 Kalangsari and SDN Margamulya, students have never received any education or socialization regarding personal safety skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using an animated video titled “Anti-Sexual Violence” on improving the personal safety skills of second-grade elementary school students. This study used a quantitative method with a quasi- experimental design of the non-equivalent control group type. The study population consisted of all second-grade students at both schools, with a sampling technique using non-probability sampling of the saturated sampling type. Data collection was conducted through a personal safety skills knowledge test. The results showed that the average pre- test scores of the experimental class were lower than those of the control class. However, after being exposed to the animated video “Anti-Sexual Violence,” the average post-test scores of the experimental class increased more significantly than those of the control class. The non-parametric test showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value < 0.05, meaning that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. The N-Gain value of the experimental class was in the “moderate” category, while the control class was in the ‘low’ category.
