Motivasi kerja yang rendah dapat menurunkan tanggung jawab dan kepercayaan diri dalam pengambilan keputusan, sehingga memengaruhi kualitas pelayanan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran turnover intention perawat, gambaran motivasi kerja perawat, serta mengetahui hubungan antara turnover intention dengan motivasi kerja perawat di ruang intensive care RSUD Umar Wirahadikusumah. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling, yaitu seluruh perawat di ruang ICU, NICU, dan HCCU RSUD Umar Wirahadikusumah yang berjumlah 60 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner turnover intention dan kuesioner motivasi kerja. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariat dengan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 78% perawat di ruang intensive care RSUD Umar Wirahadikusumah memiliki turnover intention kategori sedang, dan 77% memiliki motivasi kerja kategori sedang. Uji statistik juga menemukan hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara turnover intention dan motivasi kerja (r = -0,327; p = 0,011). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perawat di ruang intensive care RSUD Umar Wirahadikusumah memiliki turnover intention dan motivasi kerja pada tingkat sedang, serta terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara keduanya. Semakin tinggi turnover intention, semakin rendah motivasi kerja perawat. Turnover intention refers to the desire to leave one’s job due to high workload, stress, emotional exhaustion, and low job satisfaction, which may reduce the availability of experienced human resources and decrease work motivation. Low work motivation can diminish responsibility and confidence in decision-making, thereby affecting the quality of care. This study aims to determine the description of nurses’ turnover intention, the description of nurses’ work motivation, and the relationship between turnover intention and work motivation among nurses in the intensive care units of RSUD Umar Wirahadikusumah. The research design used was quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique applied was total sampling, involving all nurses in the ICU, NICU, and HCCU of RSUD Umar Wirahadikusumah, totaling 60 respondents. The instruments used were the turnover intention questionnaire and the work motivation questionnaire. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyses with the Spearman correlation test. The results showed that 78% of nurses in the intensive care units of RSUD Umar Wirahadikusumah had moderate turnover intention, and 77% had moderate work motivation. The statistical test also revealed a significant negative correlation between turnover intention and work motivation (r = -0,327; p = 0.011). This study concludes that nurses in the intensive care units of RSUD Umar Wirahadikusumah generally have moderate levels of turnover intention and work motivation, and there is a significant negative relationship between these variables.
