        abstract = {Tuntutan kreativitas desainer dalam mengeksplorasi ide sejalan dengan tantangan 
dalam proses pembuatan busana pesta bergaya hidup high class yang modern dan 
mewah. Namun, pengambilan inspirasi dari tradisi berupa legenda K{\i}zkumu 
memunculkan pertanyaan tentang mengolah sumber ide tradisi agar dapat 
diwujudkan menjadi busana pesta kontemporer tanpa menghilangkan nilai-nilai 
tradisi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mewujudkan busana pesta sebagai bagian dari 
kontemporer yang disesuaikan dengan modernitas zaman melalui penerapan teknik 
corded tucks dengan legenda kizkumu sebagai sumber idenya dan menggunakan 
metode ATUMICS. Metode ATUMICS digunakan sebagai penuntun desainer 
dalam menjelaskan sumber ide secara tertata setiap elemennya meliputi level mikro 
yaitu artefact, technique, utility, material, icon, concept dan shape juga level 
makro. Pada prosesnya ditemukan bahwa elemen tradisi dan modern saling 
menginspirasi sehingga membantu desainer dalam penentuan setiap elemen. Hasil 
dari penelitian ini berupa busana pesta dengan sumber ide Legenda Kizkumu yang 
tetap mengangkat elemen tradisinya meliputi Icon, Concept, Shape dan perpaduan 
Utility yang kemudian disajikan dalam bentuk pameran di Asia Fahion Show. 

The demand for designers' creativity in exploring ideas is in line with the challenges 
in the process of making modern and luxurious high-class lifestyle party dress. 
However, taking inspiration from tradition in the form of the legend of K{\i}zkumu 
raises the question of processing traditional sources of ideas so that they can be 
realized into contemporary party dress without eliminating traditional values. This 
research aims to realize a party dress as a part of contemporary that is adjusted to 
the modernity of the times through the application of corded tucks technique with 
the legend of K{\i}zkumu as the source of idea and using the ATUMICS method. The 
ATUMICS method was used as a designer's guide in explaining the source of ideas 
in an organized manner for each element including the micro level, namely artefact, 
technique, utility, material, icon, concept and shape as well as the macro level. In 
the process, it was found that traditional and modern elements inspired each other 
so that it helped the designer in determining each element. The result of this 
research was a party dress with the source idea of Kizkumu Legend that still raised 
its traditional elements including Icon, Concept, Shape and Utility combination 
which was then presented in the form of an exhibition at the Asia Fahion Show.}
