Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa SMA, kecemasan matematika, serta ditinjau dari gender. Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus di sebuah SMA di Bandung dengan enam subjek yang dipilih secara purposive sampling, mewakili kategori kecemasan tinggi, sedang, dan rendah dari siswa laki-laki dan perempuan. Data diperoleh melalui tes berpikir kritis berbasis indikator Facione, angket Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS), dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis siswa umumnya berada pada kategori sedang, dengan siswa rendah hanya mampu melakukan interpretasi dan analisis sederhana, sementara siswa tinggi memenuhi seluruh indikator hingga inferensi. Kecemasan matematika mayoritas berada pada kategori rendah, tetapi kecemasan tinggi menimbulkan gangguan konsentrasi dan motivasi. Pada kecemasan rendah, laki-laki dan perempuan memiliki kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi, namun laki-laki lebih unggul dalam analisis dan evaluasi, sedangkan perempuan lebih stabil dalam interpretasi dan analisis. Pada kecemasan tinggi, kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis menurun, terutama pada laki-laki yang tergesa-gesa dan perempuan yang sulit berkonsentrasi. Factors such as math anxiety and gender differences influence the development of these skills. This study aims to analyze high school students' mathematical critical thinking skills, math anxiety, and from a gender perspective. This qualitative research method a case study at a high school in Bandung, involving six purposively selected subjects, representing high, moderate, and low levels of math anxiety among male and female students. Data were collected through a critical thinking test based on Facione's indicators, the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HARS) questionnaire, and interviews. The findings reveal that students' mathematical critical thinking skills generally fall within the moderate category. Low-level students were only able to perform simple interpretation and analysis, while high-level students met all indicators, including inference. Most students' math anxiety was categorized as low, but high anxiety led to concentration and motivation issues. In low anxiety conditions, both male and female students exhibited high mathematical critical thinking skills, though males excelled in analysis and evaluation, while females showed greater stability in interpretation and analysis. In high anxiety conditions, mathematical critical thinking abilities declined, particularly among males, who were hasty in their analysis, and females, who struggled with concentration.
