Permasalahan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah tingginya nilai Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) pada instalasi listrik Gedung Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan (FIP) Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, yang melebihi batas standar IEEE 519-2014. Hal ini berpotensi menyebabkan rugi-rugi daya, penurunan efisiensi, hingga kerusakan peralatan listrik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mereduksi harmonisa dengan merancang dan mensimulasikan dua jenis filter pasif, yaitu filter single tuned dan filter high pass. Pengambilan data harmonisa dilakukan secara langsung di lapangan menggunakan alat ukur HIOKI 3286-20, kemudian dilakukan simulasi perancangan dan analisis menggunakan perangkat lunak ETAP. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kombinasi filter pasif secara signifikan mampu menurunkan nilai THD arus dan tegangan hingga mendekati standar yang ditentukan. Dengan demikian, penggunaan filter pasif ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas daya dan menjaga keandalan sistem kelistrikan di lingkungan gedung perkuliahan. Poor power quality is a major challenge in electrical distribution systems, especially due to the high harmonic distortion caused by the use of non-linear loads. The main issue in this study is the high Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) value in the electrical installation of the Faculty of Education (FIP) building at the Indonesian University of Education, which exceeds the IEEE 519-2014 standard limit. This has the potential to cause power losses, reduced efficiency, and damage to electrical equipment. This study aims to analyze and reduce harmonics by designing and simulating two types of passive filters, namely single-tuned filters and high-pass filters. Harmonic data was collected directly on-site using the HIOKI 3286-20 measuring instrument, followed by design simulation and analysis using ETAP software. The results of the study indicate that the application of a combination of passive filters significantly reduces the THD values of current and voltage, bringing them close to the specified standards.
