Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, peneliti menerapkan metode bernyanyi dengan media Pop-Up Book dalam pembelajaran Nahwu guna mengevaluasi pengaruhnya terhadap pemahaman siswa dan mengetahui respons mereka terhadap metode tersebut. Metode - Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi-eksperimen dan desain nonequivalent control group. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 50 siswa kelas VII di Pondok Pesantren Ummul Ayman Samalanga, yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu 25 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol dan 25 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi tes (pretest dan posttest), serta non-tes berupa observasi dan wawancara. Temuan - Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol meningkat dari 37,2 menjadi 58,2, sedangkan kelas eksperimen meningkat dari 37,4 menjadi 73,2. Selain itu, perhitungan uji N-Gain menunjukkan peningkatan yang lebih besar pada kelas eksperimen dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Temuan dari observasi dan wawancara menunjukkan bahwa siswa memberikan respons positif terhadap penerapan metode bernyanyi dan media Pop-Up Book, khususnya dalam aspek perhatian, keterlibatan, dan kepercayaan diri. Implikasi - Implikasi dari temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi metode bernyanyi dan media Pop-Up Book berpotensi menjadi strategi pembelajaran efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan, sekaligus mendorong keterlibatan aktif dan rasa percaya diri dalam proses pembelajaran. Penerapan strategi ini dapat dipertimbangkan guru sebagai alternatif pendekatan inovatif, khususnya dalam konteks pembelajaran yang membutuhkan peningkatan motivasi dan perhatian siswa. Simpulan - Berdasarkan hasil tes dan non-tes, disimpulkan bahwa metode bernyanyi dengan media Pop-Up Book efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep Al-Kalimah dalam pembelajaran Nahwu. Introduction - This study was motivated by students' low understanding of the concept of Al-Kalimah in Nahwu learning, as well as the need for innovative teaching methods that align with the characteristics of santri and contemporary educational developments. Based on this background, the researcher implemented a singing method using a Pop-Up Book as a learning medium in Nahwu instruction, aiming to evaluate its impact on students' comprehension and to explore their responses to the method. Method - This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a nonequivalent control group design. The research subjects consisted of 50 seventh-grade students at Pondok Pesantren Ummul Ayman Samalanga, divided into two groups: 25 students in the control group and 25 in the experimental group. Data collection techniques included tests (pretest and posttest), as well as non-test methods such as observation and interviews. Findings - The results showed that the average score in the control group increased from 37.2 to 58.2, while the experimental group improved from 37.4 to 73.2. Furthermore, the N-Gain test indicated a greater improvement in the experimental group compared to the control group. Findings from the observations and interviews revealed that students responded positively to the implementation of the singing method and the Pop-Up Book, particularly in terms of attention, engagement, and self-confidence. Implications - The implications of these findings indicate that the combination of the singing method and Pop-Up Book media has the potential to be an effective instructional strategy for significantly improving students' learning outcomes, while also fostering active engagement and self-confidence in the learning process. The implementation of this strategy can be considered by teachers as an alternative innovative approach, particularly in learning contexts that require increased motivation and student attention.
