Salah satu bentuk pengembangan yang relevan adalah multimedia interaktif berupa video tutorial yang mampu memvisualisasikan keterampilan praktis. Teknik sulam Sashiko, sebagai salah satu seni tradisional Jepang, memiliki ciri tusukan kecil yang membentuk pola berulang dengan tampilan khas dan estetik. Teknik ini menuntut pemahaman konsep sekaligus demonstrasi praktik yang jelas, sehingga video menjadi media yang tepat untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan media pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Embroidery Art terkait teknik sulam Sashiko, merancang serta mengembangkan multimedia interaktif berupa video tutorial, dan melakukan validasi serta uji coba produk oleh ahli multimedia, ahli materi, dan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Busana angkatan 2023. Penelitian ini juga menganalisis hasil uji kelayakan serta melakukan revisi untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran yang optimal. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi tahapan analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar validasi dari ahli multimedia, ahli materi, serta uji coba pengguna. Proses validasi dan revisi dilakukan secara berkelanjutan untuk memastikan kualitas produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa multimedia interaktif berupa video tutorial teknik sulam Sashiko dinilai sangat layak ditinjau dari aspek tampilan, penyajian materi, dan kemudahan penggunaan. Media ini diharapkan menjadi alternatif pendukung dalam pembelajaran keterampilan, khususnya seni sulam, dengan memberikan pengalaman belajar yang lebih praktis, interaktif, dan mudah diakses. The development of information and communication technology provides opportunities for creating innovative and engaging learning media. One relevant form is interactive multimedia in the form of video tutorials, which effectively visualize practical skills. Sashiko embroidery, a traditional Japanese art, is characterized by small stitches forming repetitive patterns with a distinctive aesthetic. This technique requires both conceptual understanding and clear practical demonstrations, making video an appropriate medium to support the learning process. This study aims to identify the needs for learning media in the Embroidery Art course related to Sashiko embroidery, design and develop interactive multimedia in the form of a video tutorial, and conduct validation and testing with multimedia experts, subject matter experts, and students of the 2023 cohort of the Fashion Design Education Study Program. The study also analyzes feasibility results and performs revisions to produce optimal learning media. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Research instruments include validation sheets completed by multimedia experts, subject matter experts, and user trials. Validation and revision were carried out continuously to ensure the quality of the product. The results show that the interactive multimedia video tutorial on Sashiko embroidery is considered highly feasible in terms of visual design, material presentation, and ease of use. This medium is expected to serve as an alternative support in skill-based learning, particularly in embroidery art, by providing a more practical, interactive, and accessible learning experience.
