This study aims to determine the effectiveness of implementing an alternating current generator starter system simulator in improving students' interest, motivation, and learning outcomes. The research was driven by the low levels of interest, motivation, and learning outcomes among students on the topic of alternating current generator starter systems due to the use of conventional teaching methods that tend to be monotonous and unengaging. The method employed was a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest model. The research instruments included questionnaires to measure students’ interest and motivation, as well as objective tests to assess cognitive learning outcomes. The findings revealed a significant improvement in all three aspects examined. The paired sample t-test showed a significance value of ≤ 0.05 for interest, motivation, and learning outcomes after using the simulator, and the n-gain test indicated that the simulator was effective in enhancing students' learning outcomes. The analysis demonstrated that the use of the alternating current generator simulator effectively improves students' interest, motivation, and learning outcomes. Interactive learning media based on hands-on practice make the learning process more engaging and meaningful. This type of simulator is recommended for broader implementation in automotive engineering education. date: 2025-08-25 type: Thesis type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: id identifier: http://repository.upi.edu/144784/1/S_PTO_2002860_Title.pdf format: text language: id identifier: http://repository.upi.edu/144784/2/S_PTO_2002860_Chapter%201.pdf format: text language: id identifier: http://repository.upi.edu/144784/3/S_PTO_2002860_Chapter%202.pdf format: text language: id identifier: http://repository.upi.edu/144784/4/S_PTO_2002860_Chapter%203.pdf format: text language: id identifier: http://repository.upi.edu/144784/5/S_PTO_2002860_Chapter%204.pdf format: text language: id identifier: http://repository.upi.edu/144784/6/S_PTO_2002860_Chapter%205.pdf format: text language: id identifier: http://repository.upi.edu/144784/7/S_PTO_2002860_Appendix.pdf identifier: Asep Saepulloh, - and Dedi Rohendi, - and Ibnu Mubarak, - (2025) PENERAPAN SIMULATOR STARTER ALTERNATING CURRENT GENERATOR UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MINAT, MOTIVASI, DAN HASIL BELAJAR.
