Douyin Makeup Look merupakan tren kecantikan populer dari Tiongkok yang berasal dari aplikasi Douyin (versi Tiongkok dari TikTok), dengan ciri riasan penggunaan warna-warna pastel, riasan mata yang besar dan bersinar (aegyo-sal), pipi merona seperti efek filter kamera, serta ombre lips dengan gradasi alami sehingga memberikan tampilan wajah yang segar, natural, sekaligus estetis. Teknik ini membutuhkan ketelitian tinggi dalam pengaplikasian riasan wajah agar hasil terlihat harmonis. Hasil studi pendahuluan dengan dosen pengampu mata kuliah Tata Kecantikan Kulit menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran masih terbatas pada media gambar, power point, dan penjelasan lisan, sehingga mahasiswa kesulitan mengulang kembali materi secara mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan studi pendahuluan mengenai penggunaan media pembelajaran, merancang dan membuat multimedia video tutorial, melakukan validasi dan uji coba pengguna, serta menganalisis data hasil validasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan tahapan analisis, perancangan, produksi, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil validasi multimedia video tutorial Douyin Makeup Look memperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 95% dari ahli materi, 92% dari ahli multimedia, dan 94% dari uji coba pengguna, sehingga dapat dikategorikan “Sangat Layak” sebagai media pembelajaran. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, multimedia video tutorial Douyin Makeup Look layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran mata kuliah Tata Kecantikan Kulit, khususnya pada materi rias wajah dengan tampilan fresh dan estetis, serta direkomendasikan sebagai media alternatif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Multimedia video tutorials are learning media designed to deliver information clearly while providing a practical learning experience for users. Douyin Makeup Look is a popular beauty trend from China that originated from the Douyin application (the Chinese version of TikTok), characterized by the use of pastel colors, large and sparkling eyes (aegyo-sal), rosy cheeks resembling camera filter effects, and ombre lips with natural gradation, resulting in a fresh, natural, and aesthetic facial appearance. This technique requires high precision in the application of makeup to achieve a harmonious result. A preliminary study with lecturers of the Skin Beauty subject showed that the learning process was still limited to media such as pictures, PowerPoint, and verbal explanations, making it difficult for students to review the material independently. This research aims to conduct a preliminary study on the use of learning media, to design and create a multimedia video tutorial, to carry out validation and user trials, as well as to analyze the validation results. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with stages of analysis, design, production, implementation, and evaluation. The validation results of the Douyin Makeup Look multimedia video tutorial obtained an average percentage of 95% from material experts, 92% from multimedia experts, and 94% from user trials, thus it can be categorized as “Highly Feasible” as a learning medium.
