Futsal merupakan olahraga kolaboratif, yang diyakini mampu menanamkan nilai-nilai kedisiplinan, kerja sama, dan kemampuan mengambil keputusan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan tingkat kepemimpinan dan tanggung jawab siswa sekolah dasar yang mengikuti dan tidak mengikuti ekstrakurikjler futsal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif komparatif dengan pendekatan survei. Populasi penelitian terdiri atas siswa kelas V dan VI SDN 053 Cisitu Kota Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket yang disusun berdasarkan indikator kepemimpinan dan tanggung jawab. Karena data yang diperoleh berdistribusi normal, maka analisis dilakukan menggunakan uji Independent Sample T-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler futsal dengan yang tidak mengikuti ekstrakurikuler futsal, baik pada aspek kepemimpinan maupun tanggung jawab. Siswa yang aktif dalam futsal cenderung menunjukkan tingkat kerja sama tim, pengambilan keputusan, serta tanggung jawab individu yang lebih tinggi. Dapat disimpulkan, bahwa keterlibatan dalam ekstrakurikuler futsal memberikan kontribusi positif dalam pengembangan sikap kepemimpinan dan tanggung jawab siswa SD. Temuan ini dapat memberikan keterbaikan bagi sekolah dalam memaksimalkan program ekstrakurikuler sebagai sarana pembentukan karakter. Leadership and responsibility are two essential aspects of character development that can be nurtured through non-academic activities such as team sports, including futsal. Futsal is a collaborative sport believed to instill values of discipline, teamwork, and decision-making skills. This study aimed to examine the differences in leadership and responsibility levels among elementary school students who participate and do not participate in futsal extracurricular activities. This research employed a quantitative comparative method with a survey approach. The study population consisted of fifth and sixth grade students at SDN 053 Cisitu Bandung. The instrument used was a questionnaire developed based on leadership and responsibility indicators. Since the data were normally distributed, the analysis was conducted using the Independent Sample T-test. The results of the study revealed significant differences between students who participated in futsal extracurricular activities and those who did not, in both leadership and responsibility aspects. Students actively involved in futsal tended to demonstrate higher levels of teamwork, decision making ability, and individual responsibility. It can be concluded that participation in futsal extracurricular activities positively contributes to the development of leadership and responsibility attitudes among elementary school students.
