Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh tantangan dalam mempertahankan kemampuan berbicara bahasa Sunda sebagai bahasa ibu bagi anak usia dini di wilayah perbatasan Jawa Barat. Anak-anak cenderung terpapar berbagai bahasa di lingkungan sekitarnya, sehingga upaya penanaman dan pelestarian bahasa Sunda sejak dini menjadi tidak mudah. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan evaluasi terhadap implementasi kurikulum muatan lokal bahasa Sunda dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi penerapan kurikulum muatan lokal bahasa Sunda pada jenjang PAUD untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah mixed-method dengan desain eksplanatori, dan pendekatan evaluasi model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). Data kuantitatif dikumpulkan melalui simple random sampling terhadap 70 guru TK dan Kober di Kecamatan Lakbok, sementara data kualitatif diperoleh melalui purposive sampling di dua TK. Teknik pengumpulan data mencakup angket, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan beberapa kendala dalam penerapan kurikulum. Dari aspek konteks, hanya sebagian guru yang memiliki dokumen kurikulum dan RPPH yang mengintegrasikan bahasa Sunda. Dari sisi input, terdapat variasi kualifikasi guru dan ketidakhadiran tim penyusun kurikulum di beberapa sekolah. Proses pembelajaran umumnya bersifat tematik dengan metode bercerita dan bermain peran, namun inovasi strategi dan keterlibatan orang tua masih terbatas. Dari aspek produk, kemampuan berbicara anak meningkat, terutama dalam penguasaan kosakata dan keberanian berbicara. This study is motivated by the challenge of preserving Sundanese as a mother tongue among early childhood learners in the border areas of West Java. Children are increasingly exposed to multiple languages in their environment, making efforts to instill and maintain the use of Sundanese from an early age more difficult. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the implementation of the Sundanese language local content curriculum as a means of improving speaking skills in early childhood. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of the local content curriculum of the Sundanese language at the early childhood education (ECE) level in enhancing children's speaking abilities. The study employs a mixed-method approach with an explanatory design, using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product). Quantitative data were collected through simple random sampling of 70 kindergarten and Kober teachers in Lakbok District, while qualitative data were obtained through purposive sampling at two selected kindergartens. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal several challenges in curriculum implementation. In the context dimension, only a portion of teachers possessed curriculum documents, and most had not developed RPPH (Daily Learning Implementation Plans) integrating Sundanese. From the input aspect, although most teachers held bachelor's degrees, some had only completed high school, and some schools lacked curriculum development teams. In the process aspect, Sundanese was typically taught thematically through storytelling and role-playing, though there is still limited innovation and parental involvement. Regarding product, the curriculum implementation improved children's speaking skills, especially vocabulary acquisition and speaking confidence.
