Beberapa mahasiswa masih belum optimal dalam memanfaatkan sumber pustaka, dengan hanya mengandalkan pendapat pribadi atau satu-dua referensi sebagai dasar penulisan tugas. Tujuan umum penelitian ini untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai literasi membaca sumber pustaka mahasiswa Pendidikan Tata Boga untuk tugas mata kuliah Kajian Komprehensif Bidang Boga. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini mahasiswa Pendidikan Tata Boga FPTI UPI Angkatan 2021 sebanyak 64 responden dengan purposive sampling 51 responden dilakukan. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner/angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa lebih dari setengah responden (74,5%) memiliki literasi sumber pustaka yang baik. Minat membaca mahasiswa terhadap sumber pustaka berada pada katagori baik (74,1%). Pencarian informasi oleh mahasiswa berada pada kategori baik (80,2%). Pemanfaatan sarana dan prasarana sumber pustaka oleh mahasiswa berada pada kategori kurang baik (59,3%). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun literasi membaca sumber pustaka responden berada pada kategori baik, pemanfaatan sarana dan prasarana pendukung masih perlu ditingkatkan. Students are encouraged to incorporate a diverse range of relevant sources to enhance the comprehensiveness of their academic assignments. However, some students still tend to rely primarily on personal opinions or a limited number of references, reflecting suboptimal engagement with available academic resources. This study aimed to examine the reading literacy of Culinary Education students in the context of completing assignments for the Comprehensive Study of the Culinary Field course. A descriptive research method with a quantitative approach was employed. The study population comprised 64 students from the 2021 cohort of the Culinary Education program at FPTK UPI, with a purposive sample of 51 respondents. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire. The findings revealed that 74.5% of respondents demonstrated a high level of literacy in utilizing library resources. Students’ interest in reading library materials was also rated as high (74.1%), as was their ability to search for relevant information (80.2%).
