Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari fenomena rendahnya keterampilan motorik kasar anak, khususnya dalam aspek keseimbangan, koordinasi, dan kelincahan. Permainan egrang batok dipilih karena diyakini mampu memberikan stimulasi pada otot-otot besar, melatih keseimbangan, koordinasi kaki dan tangan, serta meningkatkan kekuatan fisik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan desain pre-eksperimen tipe one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian adalah 30 anak kelompok A, usia 4–5 tahun. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi menggunakan instrumen penilaian motorik kasar yang meliputi kemampuan lokomotor, non-lokomotor, dan manipulatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor rata-rata kemampuan motorik kasar setelah diberikan perlakuan melalui permainan egrang batok. Peningkatan ini terlihat pada indikator keseimbangan berjalan di atas garis lurus, berlari dengan terkoordinasi, dan koordinasi kaki dan tangan sangat baik Permainan egrang batok terbukti memberikan pengalaman belajar yang menyenangkan, memotivasi anak untuk aktif bergerak, serta memperkenalkan nilai-nilai budaya lokal. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah permainan tradisional egrang batok memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap perkembangan motorik kasar anak usia 4–5 tahun dan dapat menjadi alternatif media pembelajaran fisik-motorik di PAUD. This research aims to describe the effect of the traditional game egrang batok on the gross motor development of children aged 4-5 years at TK Kartika IX-10 Cangkurileung. The background of this research stems from the phenomenon of low gross motor skills in children, particularly in aspects of balance, coordination, and agility. The egrang batok game was chosen because it is believed to provide stimulation to the large muscles, train balance, coordination of legs and arms, and enhance physical strength. The research method used is a descriptive method with a quantitative approach and a one-group pretest-posttest pre-experimental design. The subjects of the research are 30 children in group A, aged 4-5 years. Data were collected through observation using a gross motor assessment instrument that includes locomotor, non-locomotor, and manipulative skills. The analysis results show an increase in the average score of gross motor skills after being treated through the game of egrang batok. This improvement is evident in the indicators of balance while walking on a straight line, running in a coordinated manner, and the coordination of hands and feet being very good. The egrang batok game proves to provide a fun learning experience, motivating children to be physically active, and introducing local cultural values.
