Tekanan-tekanan ini muncul sebagai akibat dari perubahan peran dan lingkungan yang terjadi di dunia akademik dan menimbulkan keyakinan bahwa mereka tidak pantas menduduki posisi tersebut. Impostor phenomenon dapat berdampak negatif terhadap motivasi belajar, pencapaian akademik, dan kesejahteraan psikologis mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan impostor phenomenon pada mahasiswa tingkat awal dan merancang layanan bimbingan dan konseling sebagai implikasi dari penelitian yang dilakukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif serta desain penelitian survey. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 103 mahasiswa dengan teknik pengambilan sampel jenuh. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum mahasiswa tingkat awal berada pada tingkat kategori sedang, yang menjelaskan bahwa perasaan impostor tidak terlalu intens dirasakan mahasiswa dan terkadang muncul dalam situasi tertentu. Walaupun demikian, upaya untuk mereduksi impostor phenomenon tetap diperlukan. Maka dari itu penelitian ini menghasilkan rancangan layanan bimbingan dan konseling dalam mereduksi impostor phenomenon pada mahasiswa tingkat awal. Undergraduates have the potential to experience the impostor phenomenon and are particularly vulnerable to psychological distress. These pressures arise as a result of the changing roles and environments that occur in the academic world and lead to the belief that they are not fit for the position. Impostor phenomenon can have a negative impact on students' motivation to learn, academic achievement, and psychological well-being. This study aims to describe the impostor phenomenon in undergraduates and design guidance and counseling services as an implication of the research conducted. This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive methods and survey research design. Participants in this study amounted to 103 students with saturated sampling technique. The results showed that in general, early-level students were at a moderate category level, which explained that impostor feelings were not too intense felt by students and sometimes appeared in certain situations. Nevertheless, efforts to reduce the impostor phenomenon are still needed.
