        abstract = {Kegiatan menggambar dekoratif siswa memerlukan kombinasi perpaduan unsur seni rupa untuk mengembangkan kreativitasnya. Oleh karena itu, kreativitas yang dimiliki siswa memiliki peran penting dalam kegiatan menggambar dekoratif guna menghasilkan karya yang baru dan berbeda dari yang pernah ada sebelumnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas Metode Ekspresi Bebas dalam pembelajaran seni rupa dua dimensi, khususnya dalam meningkatkan kreativitas menggambar dekoratif siswa Fase B Sekolah Dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa taraf signifikansi uji Wilcoxon memperoleh nilai sig sebesar 0,04, yang berarti H{$_0$} ditolak dan H{$_1$} diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari Metode Ekspresi Bebas terhadap kreativitas menggambar dekoratif siswa Fase B Sekolah Dasar. N-Gain skor untuk pretest dan posttest angket kreativitas menggambar dekoratif siswa diperoleh sebesar 0,4034 atau 40,34\%, yang tergolong dalam tingkat keefektifan sedang. Sementara itu, N-Gain skor untuk pretest dan posttest unjuk kerja menunjukkan hasil 0,3604 atau 36,04\%, yang juga berada dalam kategori keefektifan sedang. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan Metode Ekspresi Bebas memiliki efektivitas yang baik dalam meningkatkan kreativitas menggambar dekoratif siswa Fase B kelas IV Sekolah Dasar.
The activity of decorative drawing among students requires a combination of various elements of visual arts to develop their creativity. As a result, the creativity possessed by students plays a crucial role in decorative drawing activities, enabling them to produce works that are new and distinct from those that have existed before. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Free Expression Method in two-dimensional art education, specifically in enhancing the creativity of decorative drawing among Phase B elementary school students. The results indicate that the significance level of the Wilcoxon test yielded a p-value of 0.04, which implies that the null hypothesis (H{$_0$}) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H{$_1$}) is accepted. Consequently, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the Free Expression Method on the creativity of decorative drawing among Phase B elementary school students. The N-Gain score for the pretest and posttest of the creativity questionnaire for decorative drawing was found to be 0.4034 or 40.34\%, which falls into the moderate effectiveness category. Meanwhile, the N-Gain score for the pretest and posttest of performance showed a result of 0.3604 or 36.04\%, which also falls within the moderate effectiveness category. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of the Free Expression Method is effective in enhancing the creativity of decorative drawing among Phase B fourth-grade elementary school students.},
